Albatros Suites by Bedsfriends

The location of this quaint hotel was perfect. If you are a walker, it is 2 miles to town or a $10 cab ride. The rooms are big and the staff is helpful and accommodating. There is a rooftop restaurant that serves lunch and dinner. Highly recommend you dine there.

We stayed at Albatros for 2 weeks in January while visiting Cozumel n a scuba trip. This is a really nice place to stay with a great location for both diving and visiting town and other areas of the osland. The hotel is fairly new and has very nice, well designed suites. The microwaves and fridges in the eating area at the front and of the suite are very convenient, especially for longer stays.the bedrooms are nice with a separate sitting room. The bathroom is the nicest I have seen in Cozumel. There is a balcony for each suite which is nice, but looks out on the main road which can be noisy. It really isn’t usable at night because you cannot turn out the lights and enjoy the evening. It feels a little like you are on display if you sit out on the balcony with the lights on. There was a very nice garden and pool area behind the hotel. It is a pleasant area to sit and relax. Breakfast at Sereno is included with the room. Sereno is an excellent restaurant with a beautiful setting for sunset. There is live music on Friday. The hotel staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Aaron, Geraldo and Angel were always gracious and helpful, and the housekeepers did a great job. We would definitely recommend and will stay on a future visit to Cozumel.

Great place. The staff is beyond friendly. A bit noisy since is right on the main hwy. Breakfast included is really good. I'll stay here again if I ever go back to Cozumel

We loved everything about this place. It helps that We got upgraded to the large "penthouse" with full kitchen, extra bedroom and bathroom, and space for 10 at the dinner table! It did look over the main, a bit noisy road but the room was soundproof when needed. The resturant's dinner (one nite quite a unique and tasty prep of grilled red snapper filet otherwise try the shimp and mushroom pasta) was the best we tasted while 9 nites in Cozumel. We find all the hotels are friendly but these guys, Aaron, Geraldo, Angel, and ?, really know how to make you feel appreciated. They worked hard to be thoughtful and helpful. This was a perfect place in every way.

This is my 3rd time staying here. I was here in June. My son left his clothes in the hamper and they washed them and saved them for us. We didn’t realize he left them there. When we arrived, they said, we have your son’s clothes. What a surprise!!! The complimentary breakfast is delicious. We have also eaten at Sereno patio for other meals and it was great.

The rooms smelled bad, hot water heater did not work. They did not come clean one of our 2 rooms at all. Very very noisy, could not leave door open. Even at night or very early in the morning. Overall we did not enjoy our stay.

Good: parking was ok, nice restaurant onsite, comfortable beds, nice location, friendly staff Not good: sewer smell in the bathroom throughout stay, not enough hot water for showers, dark room lighting, hotel ran out of extra blankets, pool had quite a bit of leaves/debris upon afternoon arrival

Great place to stay. Cleaning staff did an amazing job. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Restaurant on top of the hotel is good enough you will not have to go anywhere else unless you want to.

The staff here are terrific. I had an unfortunate emergency with loss of passport, wallet, etc. and the front desk folks, including Aaron, spoke great English and were extremely helpful. I felt bad for asking for so much help, but they were very gracious and I am glad I stayed here for a second time. Very nice staff and a great restaurant and bar upstairs at Sereno. Thank you!
