The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' drive from the visitor center. The rooms are well-heated, and the restaurant food is fantastic. The guest lounge area is also great and very cozy. The hotel service is also top-notch.

The hotel room was very clean and spacious! I slept really well and comfortably. Plus, this hotel includes breakfast for the next day, which is a huge bonus! And it's super close to Cradle Mountain, so convenient!

We had a wonderful stay at Cradle Mountain Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tasmania. The breakfast was excellent, and the beautiful views from the dining area made it even more enjoyable. One of the best parts of staying here was the location. It is very close to the stunning scenery of Cradle Mountain, and in the morning we were able to walk around the hotel grounds and spot wildlife such as wombats and wallabies, which was a memorable experience. A helpful tip for future guests: the road leading to the hotel can be quite dark at night, so it's best to arrive before sunset if possible. Overall, we had an amazing stay and will definitely be back again!

It was already dark with a sky full of stars when we arrived at the hotel. The front desk staff, who were available until 2 AM, were very welcoming. The parking lot was spacious and convenient, even with EV charging stations. The room was reasonably spacious, and the window offered views of a wild, natural garden. The common areas were very cozy, and breakfast was plentiful. The restaurant's balcony also offered a nice view. It's only a 3-minute drive to the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre.

Staff was friendly - even provided us some tips for exploring the area. The room was warm and toasty, just perfect for winter :) The lounge area is cosy and the breakfast menu is simple but sufficient. Love the mushrooms and spinach!

Clean and convenient. Good location to spot wildlife. Also like the fact that it has super faster EV charging as im driving a Tesla. It allows me to to move on without the need to find alternate charging station.

Stay during the winter time and the shower run out of hot water when it was my husband turn to bathe! So he basically has to bathe in ice cold water

We went out for a day trip and returned in the late afternoon. One of our three rooms was not serviced although we personally spoke to the housekeeping staff outside our room before we left for the trip!

This hotel is the closest one to Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre, so it's always busy. The soundproofing in the rooms is poor; it gets very noisy when people walk by. The female receptionist at the front desk reminded me of the mother searching for her missing son in Jurassic Park 2. She clearly treated white guests differently from Asian guests. She was all smiles and patiently answered questions for the previous guest, even meticulously explaining hiking routes. But when it came to us, she barely smiled, was dismissive, and gave us the noisiest room. The breakfast quantity was decent, but the quality was bad. I even found a foreign object in my food.

Newly renovated room, quite clean and comfortable overall. But no casting available in room TV Had a spider in our room, and housekeeping came quickly to catch it The restaurant also has decent food too, worth to try

Great location for visiting Cradle Mountain, and a big plus is that after 6pm you can drive to Dove Lake yourself, which made it very convenient. The breakfast was average, nothing special, and the price was a little on the expensive side. However, overall it was still worth it for the location and convenience.

Restaurant is good. Important info shared from the front desk while checking in. The only complaint(Not to the hotel) is the noisy footsteps from other selfish parents who let their kids running in the corridor.

1) Room is decently spacious and clean. 2) the hotel restaurant's staff are also very friendly. 3) the slight drawback is that the hotel only provide 3 Gig internet data usage per device per day which is insufficient for heavy user. I would expect no capping, especially from a 4 star hotel. 4) no certified personal care cleansing products are provided, whereas other lower star hotels have these ready for their guests 5) the labelling of vegan foods at the restaurant is confusing, with vegan and vegetarian labels being mixed up
