I stayed here only for one night while waiting for my flight next morning.
Things I liked:
-The hotel was pretty comfortable
-Very friendly and welcoming staff
-Very close to the airport which made it super convenient.
-The room felt very comfortable
-Better price than other hotels in the area
Things I didn't like:
-The hotel feels a little old.
-Doesn't offer anything outstanding other than barely common necesites.
-The telephone had no cable, so I couldn't call reception.
-The water heater kettle was a little dirty and rusty.

Would definitely recommend this to either business travellers or people flying from Gatwick

Amazing hotel - east access from Gatwick and had a great luxury feel about it all with a reasonable budget price!

The air conditioner in the hotel is broken. When it is turned on, it is very noisy and cannot sleep. If you are afraid of the heat, you need to change rooms. The quilt is very thick. There is no thin quilt provided. Because the air conditioning is not normal, I feel hot under the thick quilt.

The hotel is great, clean and comfortable rooms, great gym and pool facilities and the staff helpful and polite. We spent a night awaiting a connecting flight from Gatwick and very happy we chose the Sandman!

This was our second stay- we loved it when we stayed for a wedding last month we decided to come for a weekend. Lovely rooms, nice food for dinner
