I spent 3 nights at Hotel Impero during Christmas and had a great stay. It is perfectly located, my room is very comfortable and clean. I highly appreciate the welcoming, professional staff. Special kudos to Angelica (Breakfast Room) who worked the entire weekend of my stay. She provided excellent customer service and with a smile - thank you Angelica! Great breakfast buffet! I will return to Cremona, will stay again and recommend Hotel Impero👌

I stayed here for one night earlier this week. I had a peaceful and undisturbed night’s sleep, however some of my coach party weren’t so lucky. There was a market directly outside the hotel the following morning and they started setting up at 5.30am, so make sure you ask for a quiet room when booking. The room (a single room) was very small, but perfectly adequate. It had sky tv, and you were able to change the language of the programmes to the original language, giving you a wider choice of programmes to watch. Evening meal was nice enough - bruschetta (my favourite), lasagne, meat with a sauce, and a lovely creamy panacotta. Breakfast next morning wasn’t as good. There was no coffee machine, and nobody came round to ask if I wanted coffee either. There wasn’t a great choice of food items, although they did have brie, which I love. Staff were nice and friendly. I would stay here again.

New renovated "club rooms" in the upper floor with very good bathroom and stylish interior, but how about the Bar for breakfast? This is really frustrating to sit there and have a "modest - more or less bad quality - breakfast buffet. It does not fit to the standard of the rooms in the upper floor. Quiet location and very close to a parking place and to the Stravinsky Violin Museum

The hotel has 4 stars, it appears to be under renovation on the 4th floor, we can hear the workers hammer and move stuff every morning at 8:00. Our room was small, much smaller than the picture on the web page. The shower is VERY small, I could hardly bend over to pick up the soap and the towels really show a lot of mileage. The room faces the street, where the night bars are plenty, so Thursday, Friday and Saturday there was a lot of noise until the early morning hours. The walls are thin as we can hear the guests in the next room talk. Breakfast is included on the price, but is terrible, the bread is hard, there is always cold, hard-boiled eggs, cornettos (croissants), cereals, scrambled eggs that seem to be there from 7:00 until they close breakfast at 10:00 and fresh cappuccino; The fruit seems to be purchased once a week so the bananas look terrible after three days, the oranges are soft to the touch after a couple of days, terrible breakfast, it never changes and it does not look very appetizing. The room is made up and cleaned daily. In my opinion this is a 2 star hotel.

Very nice hotel. Free WiFi a much better deal than most American 4-star hotels!

Friendly staff on reception, good breakfast, comfortable bed. Given that northern Italy is suffering from major drought, I was disappointed that they changed the towels every day. It’s unnecessary. I used the stairs, which looked like they hadn’t been cleaned properly. If I go back I’ll ask for an internal room, which might be quieter as there is a very noisy bar downstairs with tables outside. Lots of renovation work happening on the upper floor so it’ll be interesting to see what they are doing with the place.

Only stayed one night as a stop over on a coach tour. 2nd time this has happened - it struggles to cope with 2 coaches arriving, but did put us in separate dining rooms. Food was good, though no choice, but did come round with seconds. Some language barrier as people tried to order drinks. Room was fairly basic, but clean and comfortable with a good shower. Very central for the town.

The rooms are nice but basic. The location and staff were wonderful. The breakfast was wonderful and varied. It was great to be in the heart of one of Italy’s beautiful cities.
