Warren River Cottages

We stayed at number 12 the blue wren chalet over Xmas/ new year apon arrival found the place ok at first glance until you looked closer the place was filthy . The only clean thing was the sheets on the bed but even the bed spread was disgusting it stunk of body odour . The place smelt of mildew and general dirty odour . How ever the house itself was great for a big family or two families to share and it was nice to wake up to being in the bush . The pool was filthy kids couldn’t swim In It and the kids games room was run down and pool table liner ripped so they couldn’t use that either. There was food and dirty socks left under the couch cushions and under all 3 of the couches . Dirty cupboards , other peoples old food left in cupboards , not enough crockery to go round . Shower dirty/ mould . Rat sake sprinkled under bed , which I found quite a concern as if A small child got hold of they could of thought it was a sweetie and eaten it and got poisoned . Outside table n chairs filthy we had to clean before use . No cleaning sprays or chux to clean benches had to use tea towel to clean outside table and chairs . Picture above bed dirty and covered in cob webs . Floor dirty needed vacuuming and mopping, carpets dirty too . All in all very disappointed with the place which is such a shame !!!
