Drilling started right next door at 8 AM, without any prior notice or even the decency to move us to a different floor. Paying money and not even being able to rest is unacceptable. Renovations should either be done when the hotel is closed or guests should be informed so they can decide. Furthermore, they don't clean the rooms during your stay. We had to ask for three consecutive days for them to please clean the room and change the towels. And to top it all off, we had to walk up 5 flights of stairs on four separate occasions due to the construction. I do want to emphasize that the staff were very kind and friendly; the complaint is against the hotel's management and operations.
