Crystalbrook Flynn is a vibrant, modern hotel that delivers the perfect mix of luxury, style, and energy. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere feels fresh and upbeat, with a lively yet polished vibe that sets it apart from more traditional resorts.

The rooms are spacious, sleek, and thoughtfully designed, featuring contemporary décor, comfortable beds, and stunning views of either the Coral Sea or Cairns city. The attention to detail, from the quality linens to the modern bathrooms, makes the stay feel indulgent.

Dining is a highlight – Flynn offers multiple restaurants and bars with diverse menus, from fresh local seafood to crafted cocktails. The Glasshouse is a must-visit, combining elegant design with a fine dining experience, while Flynn’s Italian provides a more relaxed yet equally impressive option.

The pool area is stylish and inviting, complete with a glass-bottom feature that overlooks the bustling street below, creating a unique and playful touch. It’s an ideal spot to unwind with a drink in hand while soaking up Cairns’ tropical climate.

Service throughout the hotel is attentive and friendly, with staff who go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and well looked after. The hotel’s location is another big plus – right on the Esplanade, it’s only steps away from the Lagoon, restaurants, and the marina for reef tours.

Overall, Crystalbrook Flynn is perfect for those looking for more than just a place to stay – it’s an experience. Energetic, stylish, and fun, it suits couples, groups of friends, and anyone who wants to enjoy the best of Cairns in a modern, luxurious setting.

This booking is one of the rare ones I had serious dissatisfaction so I had to write a long review. First the information on the booking page is not fully transparent. We were only made aware that the 2 bedroom suite we booked does not offer daily room cleaning service. Cleaning service comes in only every 3 days of stay (so for 5 nights we stayed, the room was cleaned only once!) If this was well informed, I probably would not consider booking this room. 
Second, the service was almost non-existent. When they said clean towels can be offered upon request, the towels were literally left on the table top immediate behind the front door. On the “clean day”, we were amazed to find toilet brush and bin left on the closed toilet bowl, ants were spotted near the sink, tissue boxes were not refilled, and pillow cases had clear sign of dirty marks.
Despite a 5-night stay, hotel didn’t allow any late check out beyond 12pm. Front desk insisted an hourly fee and different people were giving different fee rates. This was again confusing and disappointing. 

Pls also note overnight parking is charged at $12 per night. 

Breakfast offered at $28/pax had limited choices (basic international breakfast)

Other than above, the room is generally clean. We didn’t have a chance to explore other parts of the hotel so no comment on the amenities. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to the pier and good selection of food options.

The downstairs pool is fantastic! Breakfast was decent too, and I'd definitely recommend sitting outside to enjoy the sea view – it's absolutely perfect on a clear day.

Location was amazing, and you can park there too. Valet parking, just pull up at the side of the building and let the reception know. The pool on the roof has impressive views of both the bridge and the opera house. Our bathroom could have done with a lick of paint but the room was clean and well kept.

When we made our booking, the website stated that breakfast would cost $25 per adult and would be free for children. However, upon arrival, we were told that the price had increased to $35 per adult, and that children would now be charged half price — without any prior notice of this change on the website.

Additionally, the parking fee of $50 per night was not mentioned at the time of booking, and the car park was full when we arrived.

There were also some basic amenities missing in the room, such as napkins, plates, and cutlery, which we expected to be provided.
