Valley Overlook

Valley Overlook offers comfortable camping! My daughter (an experienced primitive camper) and I (a no -camper) stayed in a furnished canvas tent with electricity for two nights. The tent was very clean, spacious, and well furnished. The bed was comfortable. The layers of blankets kept me toastie warm. We put the fire-ring and picnic table to good use. The bathrooms were nearby and very clean. Firewood was available for purchase onsite. The owners are welcoming and hospitable, and quick to answer questions. The setting is beautiful. It’s a great place to stay.

So cute! We stayed in a tent and it was a great glamping experience following a concert at Blossom. Tents are roomy with bed, arm chairs, and dining set, as well as a cute little porch with seating. Linens were clean and bed sure beat sleeping on the ground. It’s still camping, so I’d recommend a bringing extra blankets when weather is chilly. There are two restroom areas — a little stand alone building with two bathrooms and a larger, more traditional camp bathroom setup in the lodge building. The smaller stand alone building has a bathroom on each side — each complete with a private toilet, sink, shower combo. A note on Blossom, you still have to drive a few miles to get to Valley Overlook. It is not a walking destination. Would totally stay again!
