Holiday Inn Express & Suites Houston NW - Hwy 290 Cypress

Great hotel and very clean. Staff was very nice. Only problem is you can't call ahead to request where you would prefer your room to be, especially when I booked more than one room, other than this it was a great stay!!!

I would definitely stay at this location when in Houston.

Clean and comfortable We were in Houston to visit family. We stayed Friday night until Tuesday morning. We had an issue with the guests upstairs and the General Manager Nathalie El Danaf addressed it with professionalism and kindness. The hotel was clean, comfortable, quiet and well maintained. The continental breakfast was good. The dining area was clean and the food was hot. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

We started off a little rough, I called to let the front desk know we would have a late check in as our son was playing a couple baseball games. The front desk then proceeded to tell me that would be ok but wanted to inform me that the original room I reserved with 2 queen beds was not available even though I booked it earlier in the week. I asked how was that not available when I reserved it prior to our stay. She wasn’t sure how that happened and said I wasn’t the only one it happened to that day. So they offered a king bed with a sofabed. But I didn’t want my kids to sleep on a sofabed because it’s hard on the back. We’ve all been in a car accident before so we have back problems. Which is why I booked 2 beds. I asked if I could just cancel my reservation and we would find somewhere else to stay. She then said let me speak to my manager and I will call you back. I called back since I didn’t receive a phone call and she told me they did find a room with 2 queen beds to my surprise. But after that rough start, the stay itself was good.
