The property was not as depicted as in the pictures with it exuding a should-have-seen-better-days vibe. It was a no-frills, nondescript, generic budget hotel. Nonetheless it was a haven after a sweltering day-out with functioning a/c, hot&cold water supply and a large bed. Its proximity to the beach and dining options were its saving glory.

I had a worst experience staying at this hotel. I booked a room with a window to city view and paid for 3 nights but when I arrived, they reserved non window dark room which is totally different from what I booked. In the property listing, they display something nice but reality may be quite different for online bookers. When I complain them, they said they have no rooms available. Since I arrived late at night, I had to stay at that room which was also very dirty. I wanted to cancel my booking with them and switch to next hotel but they refused to refund my money back. I do not recommend any one to stay at such non cooperative hotel.

I received a different room than the one I had reserved and paid for. But the service was good.

Booked this hotel last minute as the hostel we booked was disgusting. Arrived and checked in not overly welcoming one receptionist was asleep at the desk. Room was okay as far as a room went bathroom was big and spacious however the water was luke warm one night not sure why. The beds where so hard both me and my friend have sore hips/bruises on both sides from sleeping on these beds they are so uncomfortable. Don’t worry about setting a morning an alarm because the maids/maintenance staff will wake you up against your will EVERY SINGLE MORNING! I’m talking music blasting, singing generally very loud and what I could only describe as the sound of tools being dropped, banging and some drilling here and there, not only that but our air conditioning decided not to work for two days we called reception and they sent up a maintenance guy who was probably less than qualified to be fixing it, not sure what he was doing but he needed to defrost the ice off the air conditioner so he used a hose from the bathroom but he decided not to use the sink the but the toilet! Yes toilet water! SWAMP WATER! Obviously this was a messy job water everywhere, bed wet, floor soaked. We asked reception if we could have the room cleaned and one of the beds changed the maids didn’t change the bed but remade the bed still with the same wet bedding and proceeded to clean floor with a towel under her feet and she shuffled through the room.

The Worst Hotel Experience - Valencia Hotel Da Nang Beach Hotel General Spaces Valencia Hotel Da Nang Beach Hotel is, without a doubt, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Let’s start with the general spaces. The elevator looks like it hasn’t been maintained since it was installed 20 years ago. It’s covered in scratches, rust, and spilled liquids. The hotel has a corridor-style floor plan, with some areas having windows and others completely lacking them. The corridors are dimly lit (I have no idea how it will look on night), except for the far ends where windows are present. However, the windows offer a view of a garbage dump, which is far from pleasant. The corridors themselves are extremely narrow, barely allowing a single adult man with one suitcase to pass through. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a photo of the room lock, but it looked just as worn-out as the metal plates on the corridor floors. The Room Moving on to the personal space—the room itself. My room had a window, but it opened into the corridor where everyone passes by, offering zero privacy. The walls were paper-thin, and I could hear every conversation happening in the hallway. Everything in the room was as worn-out as the elevator, from the kettle to the bed. Scratches and scuffs were everywhere. The cleaning was superficial at best; it seemed like the floors were mopped once, and that was it. Everything else was dirty. The fridge and trash bin were filthy, as shown in the photos. The toilet was even worse—there were remnants of the previous guest’s waste, which is simply unacceptable. It’s shocking that the staff doesn’t perform basic checks. The bed was extremely hard and creaked loudly with every movement. The only redeeming feature was the bed linen, which appeared clean. However, I suspect this is only because the hotel primarily caters to local couples looking for short-term stays. Additional Issues Don’t be stingy like I was—pay a little extra and stay in a proper hotel with decent conditions. The entire booking process felt like a scam. Upon arrival, I was asked to pay an additional from platform fee equal to the booking price, which was a complete surprise. The photos on booking platforms are nothing but designer renderings. In reality, everything looks completely different. If you want to cancel your stay, you’ll have to pay the same amount again, and you won’t get a single penny refunded. #### Final Decision After spending just 2-3 hours in this hotel, I couldn’t bear it any longer. I immediately searched for and booked a proper hotel with decent conditions and left Valencia Hotel as soon as possible. Final Thoughts In conclusion, this hotel is a complete scam and a nightmare to stay in. Save yourself the trouble and book a better place. Valencia Hotel Da Nang Beach Hotel is a prime example of how deceptive marketing can ruin a traveler’s experience. Avoid it at all costs.
