We pride ourselves on making our guests feel welcome, safe, and at home. Our top priorities are connecting travelers, and helping answer any questions on how you should best spend your time in Vietnam. And to get an understanding of the culture and history here. We strive to make a personal connection with as many guests as we can. We are a very social hostel with one of the best spaces in Da Nang to meet fellow travelers. Located in the heart of the tourist area of Da Nang, everything you need is within a quick 5 minute walk from the hostel. Restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and the best strip of beach in central Vietnam is only a stones throw away. Plenty of palm trees to sit under and sip a coconut or a nice cold Huda bia :). Rent a surfboard, or cruise up Monkey Mountain on a scooter. Whatever you are looking for, we are happy to point you in the right direction. We have a big screen HD projector that we can play just about any sporting event, movies and 4 person FIFA on the PS4! We can also assist in booking tours and transportation throughout Vietnam. Its the rainy season from October, but we can help with some things to do. We've got umbrellas to use for free, and everything is close. You can still ride a motorbike with the proper preparation. Dont let it stop you from visiting :) Quiet hours from midnight - 8am in the main hostel area. After hours social area across the street. Free ear plugs provided if you need them.Show More

You feel very comfortable and welcome here. You can feel the passion and the love that the owner and staff put into the hostel. Special thanks for the great time goes to Hai, Hanh, Ngan and Diem for the very friendly and welcoming service. Would come back everytime!

Really fun place with cool new management. We were told the place had just opened after covid with a new owner and he was hoping to get things moving. Things lime the personal service and free toothbrushes stood out to us. However, the main thing is that we had a great time in the evening. It is well worth dropping in and I reckon things are only gonna get better cos the place has such a friendly feel to it.

Rooms are tiny! Booked the 4 bed mixed dorm, which we only booked as I saw a reply to a review that they had adapted the 4 bed rooms to be 3 bed rooms with storage, this is a complete lie! Not very clean. Very noisy. You HAVE to pay cash, they don't accept card - which is rather annoying. We won't be returning.

Rom Casa was such a great stay - we met so many other travellers and there were great communal spaces to relax in. All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. It was also great location to the beach and coffee. Highly recommend staying here!

Superb budget accommodation in a great part of town. We spent 3 weeks in Da Nang and apart from a few nights staying in an up-market hotel we stayed here despite having planned to stay in other places. We loved the constant comings and goings of backpackers - its a real hub for young travellers. The staff were incredibly friendly. The little open-air bar was a great place to hang out and drink beer and superb cocktails. The container rooms were roomy and comfortable. Ours had air conditioning. The communal shower/ sink/ toilet area was basic but always clean with hot water all the time. The white sand beach is a 4 minute walk. There are loads of trendy little bars and eateries all around - including vegan/ vegetarian. We'll be going back to DaNang next year and look forward to staying at Rom Casa again. It's an unforgettable experience and one of the best places we've stayed for character and unique environment. The area is very up and coming (has been since 2017) with high rise hotels being built all around so I hope it manages to survive the pressures from developers.
