Lovely, relaxing stay. I haven’t given 5⭐️ because Champneys now charge for lunch when you’re staying overnight which seems a bit odd…and the lunches were always a great social interaction too. I hope they bring it back soon. Overall, the stay was great and facilities work well for me. Staff were very friendly and courteous as always. Particular thanks to Louise in the Terrace Cafe - always cheerful and chatty and always greets you with a smile…great coffee too. Thanks!

Took a solo trip for a business trip and had a surprisingly nice stay. I usually stay in smaller hotels / lodges and don’t often get the whole hotel experience but whilst staying with Tring champneys it felt like such a luxurious getaway. Shoutout to Sophie in the restaurant for looking after me both days i came for breakfast, lovely girl!

i recently visited champneys about a week ago with a few friends, i wasn’t quite sure what to expect from the trip but i was pleasantly surprised. i’ve been told it’s a overall great place to visit and that was the truth. the spa facilities were fresh and clean and was kept that way throughout my stay. this is the same with the indoor pool which was very pleasing and also kept at a great temperature. furthermore i want to just point out some of the staff that served me in the dinner restaurant. the waiters bonnie, Tom and Joe were brilliant making sure to ask me about allergy’s which was great as i’m allergic to dairy. My main waitress Bonnie was clear and polite and seemed like she cared especially with making sure i won’t go near or end up eating anything i’m allergic to. my food was delicious with no problems. my friend didn’t like his main course which he got over but apart from that the experience was 5 stars!

I had dinner in March and was not only wow’ed by the food, but also the service we received, specifically from our waitress Amy. It certainly lifted the experience especially as it was my first visit to Champneys, and because the experience and in fact excellent service we received, will certainly not be the last. Thanks Amy and the team at Champneys!

My husband and I stayed for 1 night and this was enough to be honest. We stayed in a superior room ( 64) but there was nothing special at all about it. In fact, I've stayed in nicer premier Inn rooms. When we got to the room, we tried to use the safe in our wardrobe but it wouldn't work. We had tye same problem when we last visited champneys ( Springs). The complimentary robes we were both given were very damp. There were no towels anywhere - we walked around for 40 minutes and tried 4 different changing rooms. All the facilities were so busy and crowded, people were standing around queuing / waiting like in a themed park. Not a relaxing atmosphere at all. Lounge beds were all taken but unused as people selfishly claim them with their wet towels then disappear. No mobile phones in some areas but people ignore this. The place is tatty and needs some TLC. I suggest the manager and handyman goes round and makes an extensive list as there are missing letters on rooms, rusty metal, old bits, broken bits and it's generally rough round the edges. Dinner - food was good but many items not available. They no longer give you complimentary bread. We ate lunch in the cafe before we departed. What an embarrassing shambles. Half the menu wasn't available. Tables were dirty and the 2 staff on duty were very flustered and stressed. I ordered a melted brie sandwich and had to send it back twice. My husband ordered a chicken salad and had to send it back once. Many other tables were requesting refunds and complaining also. Louise the staff member couldn't apologise enough and said this is an ongoing issue. I would not return here. Its overpriced and very very badly run. They need to close for a week for refurbishment and run some thorough staff training. What a shame. We've been to champneys over 10 times but we're done now.

What a wonderful day to celebrate my son’s birthday. Such a lovely welcome by Adrian and Jess at reception. Immediately felt very welcomed and relaxed, they were both so professional as well as being friendly and kind and answers all the questions we had. The facilities were first class and breakfast and lunch absolutely delicious. I have to mention the delightful Audrey who worked in the shop who I thoroughly enjoyed talking to. She has apparently done over 40 years working for Champneys and her enthusiasm and joy working there shone through, that is surely a true indication of a fantastic company who cares as much for their employees as it does their guests. Well done Champneys, you excelled yourself.

Recently visited Tring Champneys with friends and it was the perfect relaxation stay away from home! The spa facilities were very clean and the gardens were beautiful. The restaurant has healthy alternatives which was nice to see. One of the members in my party has some difficult allergies where the restaurant staff were particularly accommodating. Special thanks to Bonnie, Melissa and Tom for making our stay extra special!

Had a fabulous experience the other week! Was served by a lovely girl called Eden and her manager Lily-Mai who made sure my dining experience was excellent. Will definitely return! The cafe was also a lovely way to spend the afternoon where I got some delicious coffee and food. Will be coming again!
