The staff was friendly and helpful. But: The foot rest in the shower was torn loose from the shower wall. The bottom of the fixed shower glass leaks onto the bathroom floor badly and needs to be caulked. The outlets for the fridge, microwave, and coffee maker were not working so we had to move the appliances around the room to working outlets. A Crack in the ceiling above the shower had been repaired with plaster, but never sanded smooth. Beds were comfortable. Generally upgraded facilities. Garage parking.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was great but the pool.. it was a little to warm to even enjoy swimming. Felt like luke warm bath water.

Great Family Vacation This is my fourth time staying at Holiday Inn Express and my go-to for a long weekend in Dahlonega. The hotel is centrally located with plenty of parking and within walking distance of cool shops, tasting rooms, restaurants, and more. The staff is very friendly and the room clean and a good size for three people.
