The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and provided good service throughout my stay, which I appreciated. However, the hotel itself appears quite poor from the outside and seems to lack proper maintenance. The room had a noticeable unpleasant smell upon arrival, which made the stay uncomfortable. The room was also not as clean as expected, and the overall condition did not match the standard I was hoping for. With better upkeep and improved housekeeping, the guest experience could be much better. Overall, the service was good, but the hotel’s cleanliness and maintenance need improvement

Very strategically located at the end of 洋人街 and near the edge of Dali ancient town so it is easy to board a didi for getting around and also it offers some peace and quiet while still being relatively close to the main bustling streets. Boss is a nice and friendly man who invited us to try some tea that he masterfully brewed on the spot! He also helped us out when we had trouble renting an e bike along erhai lake. Overall a clean and homely stay!

The room was very clean, and the facilities were new. The mattress was perfectly comfortable – neither too soft nor too firm – and the soundproofing was excellent. The entire place was also spotless. The communal courtyard and terrace were incredibly inviting, and I absolutely loved spending the evenings chatting with fellow travelers from all over the world.

Waking up to the gentle chirping of birds in the early morning, I just had to open the window to reveal the charming streets of the old town. The guesthouse boasts truly excellent views. It was incredibly therapeutic to sit out in the evening, sipping tea and gazing at the stars! The bedding was unbelievably soft, like sleeping on a cloud – I honestly didn't want to leave even after several days! As a lovely bonus, fresh fruit was also provided upon check-in.

Amazing amazing designed hotel room, we definitely love it. The lovely young lady who welcomed us was really friendly too, super helpful. Location is 11/10, just at the edge of the ancient city where is not too noisy and is easily accessible to the ancient city. Wish we could stay another night or two, a very worthwhile hotel!

It's great because you don't have to walk long distances on cobblestone streets, and access to taxis on the main road is superb. March Street is right in front of you. Although it's located within the old city, it's far removed from the hustle and bustle, situated on a quiet side street. I love the decorated red-framed windows and the picturesque branches outside. It was a truly wonderful room. Communication with the staff was difficult, but I appreciated their efforts to help me using translation apps. It seems that cleaning isn't done every day, so you have to ask for water refills.
