I had a good stay at this place! It’s not the cleanest but very okay. The staff is very friendly and attentive, I spend the last evening down at the bar with them and their friends. The beds are quite hard, but that’s the norm around here I guess. The location is good, it’s five minutes from a good noodle place and 10-15 minutes from the ancient town.

This stay was fantastic! The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the subway station and shopping areas, making getting around and shopping a breeze. The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, with soft and comfortable bedding and excellent blackout curtains – I got a great night's sleep. The staff were warm and attentive, always ready to answer questions and quick to respond. The breakfast had a rich variety of fresh options. The value for money here is unbeatable; I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town!

Having grow accustomed to hostels that exceeded my expectations in China, this is a rare hostel that did the opposite. As a budget traveler, the hostel is fine. It has a hot shower, beds are fine, and the location is good for access to Cangshan, though its a bit far (30 minute walk) from the heart of the restaurant district in Dali Ancient City or the Three Pagodas. This hostel was definitely on the messy side, especially in the kitchen and the bar. The terrace has a great view, but is not really set up as a hang out spot. If you're looking for an affordable place, go for it, but I think there are better options in Dali for a slightly higher price.

Friendly staff, good location to explore the city. Even the price is low, the place can be much better regarding cleaning of rooms and common areas.

Very nice room, it’s a bit far from the city but close to the lanterns show (15 minutes walk up the hill) and some other nice spots, they have a nice bar downstairs with friendly atmosphere

I spent four nights (two more than expected) in Laura's hostel and I really enjoyed being there. The owner and stuff are incredible nice and helpful. Guests as well. So, I could feel like with a good friends. Good location, common barbeque, kitchen and washing machine for Bicycle to rent. I recommend 👍🏼
