Yujingtan Diecui Beiyuan Hotel

This is a great hotel! The location is excellent, within walking distance to the ancient city, which saves a lot of hassle with parking. The hotel even has its own underground garage, and the best part is that EV charging is free – simply perfect! The staff were very welcoming and provided thoughtful, well-arranged service. The hotel's decor and facilities are impressive, and the bedding was clean and comfortable, leading to a wonderful night's sleep! Right outside the hotel, you can rent electric scooters, which is super convenient. Exploring Dali on a scooter is truly a unique and enjoyable experience!

Facilities: Perfect Hygiene: Perfect Environment: Excellent We've been driving around Yunnan for two weeks now, and this is by far the best hotel we've stayed in. The location is superb, very close to the North Gate of the old town. It's about 6.5 km to Longkan Pier and 1.8 km to the Three Pagodas. We rented an e-scooter right outside the hotel, which solved all our transportation needs. Previously, we stayed inside the old town, and parking was incredibly difficult, with a high risk of scratches. To avoid the crowds, we checked out early and left the old town, so we arrived at the hotel at 9 AM. The front desk staff was very thoughtful and arranged an early check-in for us, which we really appreciated. The room facilities, cleanliness, and everything else were impeccable—just amazing! The underground parking is spacious and clean, we were so pleased. The breakfast also offered a great variety. This is truly a hidden gem of a hotel, highly, highly, highly recommended!

Our stay in Dali Old Town was fantastic! The hotel's location is superb – right on a bustling street, making it convenient to get everywhere, yet quiet enough to enjoy the ancient city's tranquility at night. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and you could tell a lot of thought went into the details. The rooftop terrace was the biggest surprise; watching the Cangshan sunset in the evening and taking panoramic photos of the old town from there was absolutely incredible! The service was also incredibly attentive; the concierge helped us plan our itinerary and recommended authentic local dishes. The breakfast was also very authentic and incredibly satisfying. All in all, we definitely picked the right place for our trip, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dali!

Facilities: Everything is brand new, and the in-room amenities feel high-end and are of excellent quality. Environment: There's a courtyard on the ground floor and a viewing platform on the top floor, offering spaces for kids to play and adults to relax. Service: The service was truly superb. The flower cake they gave us when we left was also delicious.

Highly recommend! It's very close to the ancient city. The room is spacious. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the service is great, as is the breakfast. It's also conveniently located near bus route 8, which goes directly to the train station. However, during holidays, bus route 8 only goes as far as Ganjia Village, not all the way to the ancient city, so you'll need to take a taxi or walk. Over the Chinese New Year holiday, taxis were incredibly hard to find, almost impossible, and traffic was gridlocked. If you're heading to the train station, be sure to leave extremely early!
