I highly recommend the Shanshui Lake View! Came with a friend during Christmas vacation and everything was perfect. The Bai sisters that run the hotel and very welcoming and kind. The afternoon tea and breakfast are delicious. The view from the Boutique Suite was beautiful and you can watch all kinds of sea birds. The room was spacious, clean, and well decorated. They even gave us a gift of flower cakes, a tote bag, and preserved fruits when we checked out.

We stayed here for our 10 year wedding anniversary and everything about our stay was wonderful. The staff were so amazingly helpful. They provide a delicious breakfast with both cooked and buffet items. They also put out fruit, snacks and drinks in the afternoon. The room was beautiful and very clean with stunning views across the lake and beautiful evening sunsets. The staff surprised us with special decorations for our anniversary day. We highly recommend Shuanglang Old Town. It was much larger than we expected with great shops, restaurants, and lake views. We highly recommend this hotel to couples looking for a romantic, luxurious, and high quality stay in the Dali area. We didn't want to leave and hope to visit them again soon.

A quaint little Inn set right on the east side of the lake! Each room faces the water with balconies to relax and enjoy the scenery. Location is far from downtown Dali. The Inn is situated in Shuanglang Ancient Town with local food restaurants and shops. It is possible to visit popular tourist sights, it is just a journey. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and worked hard to ensure our stay was pleasant. They helped us book the activities we wanted to do and suggested activities we might be interested in. Breakfast is the only meal provided. Food was fresh and prepared on sight. There is afternoon tea provided, which is nice, but we were on our own for other meals. My friend and I packed our own food and I am glad we did. However, the staff was caring with assisting us in suggesting food for lunch and dinner. If you are looking to get away from the crowd and relax on the lake, this is the place!
