Dali Luchun Garden Hotel

Traveling with my family, I was very satisfied overall. The room was spacious and bright, clean, and the facilities were good. The butler (July) provided thoughtful service, and the environment was quiet, making it suitable for families. It's convenient for dining and entertainment nearby, and getting around is hassle-free. My whole family enjoyed their stay, highly recommended! 👍

This hotel has a guesthouse-like feel, with a beautiful large garden on the first floor filled with succulents. My room was on the third floor, and there's no elevator, but the staff helped me with my luggage. In the evenings, they offer a 'goodnight milk,' and the butler even gives weather reminders for the next day. The only thing I wasn't reminded about was the hotel's shuttle service to the old town, even though they had sent an SMS before check-in, which I must have overlooked. The hairdryer in the room could definitely be improved.

I remember booking Lu Chun Garden Hotel on July 30th, and their butler, Gao Yuanyuan, immediately contacted me to confirm my itinerary and other details. The hotel even offered station pick-up and drop-off. When we arrived, the staff was already waiting at the entrance and promptly helped us with our luggage to our room. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and the service was truly exceptional and attentive. Every time we returned, they would come out to help us with our belongings, including the baby stroller. They also provided daily private shuttle service to the ancient city, all while maintaining a great sense of privacy. The hotel also has a beautiful garden and cute bunnies that my child loved. The room environment and facilities were excellent and well-equipped, and the soundproofing was also great! After a few days, we really didn't want to leave. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends who come to Dali, and if I ever visit Dali again, I'll stay here!

An Airbnb experience with hotel-level management. Location: Next to a popular photo spot on Cang'er Avenue. It's close to Gantong Cableway and Dali Ancient City, but without the hustle and bustle of the latter. Dali University is right next door, featuring a Halal food street with truly authentic Yunnan flavors! Room: I booked the Cherry Blossom Seaview Room. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer sunrise views, and turning back to open the door, you can see the misty Cangshan mountains. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the Gree central air conditioning was silent. Common Areas: The courtyard is exquisite and unique, clearly meticulously maintained. Breakfast: The menu changed daily, and everything was delicious. For example, during my two-day stay, the pasta options were asparagus and shrimp pasta on the first day, and black pepper beef pasta on the second. The freshly cooked rice noodles were especially tasty, and the noodle-making attendant enthusiastically introduced local seasonings and ingredients. Service: All staff were young, clean, and well-presented. The housekeeper contacted me in advance. As soon as my car stopped at the entrance, they proactively greeted me, took my luggage, offered tea, and guided me to my room with my bags. Any requests were met with a quick response. Suggestions: There was a slight drain odor in the bathroom shower, which I recommend maintaining promptly. Providing disposable face towels is a nice touch, but they shed a bit of lint 🌚.

This hotel is perfect for a family vacation with kids. It offers a distant view of Erhai Lake and is backed by the Cangshan Mountains. On clear days, you can even see the snowy peaks. The personal butler (Gao Yuanyuan) was also very thoughtful. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, and the rooms are clean. It’s a great place to enjoy the slow pace of life in Dali, definitely worth a visit.

We booked a tatami room, and it was super convenient for me, my husband, and our one-and-a-half-year-old child. It's very close to Dali University, the hotel garden is beautiful, and the breakfast is also great!

The hotel environment is great, and the butler service is excellent, always catering to our needs. The garden is exquisite, with beautiful succulent plants. Both breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious. They also offer a shuttle service to and from the high-speed rail station and Dali Ancient City, which is very convenient. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The only suggestion I have is about breakfast. I personally feel that it's not ideal to be asked how my stay is going right when I'm eating breakfast. In the morning, I'm either not fully awake yet or rushing to get out for my itinerary, so I don't like being asked for feedback so early. I think it would be more appropriate to ask guests when they are waiting for a car or at other times when they are entering or leaving the hotel. Overall, choosing this hotel was definitely the right decision!👍
