The environment is clean and tidy, making the whole experience very comfortable. The service attitude is excellent; the staff are warm and thoughtful. The location is also very convenient. My stay was extremely satisfying, highly recommended.

My family all praised my choice of guesthouse; I actually found this hidden gem in Dali Ancient City! The location is excellent, right inside the ancient city, making it convenient to go anywhere, yet the courtyard itself is very quiet – a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The entire guesthouse has an interesting Bai ethnic old house style. That big tree and the flowing water are particularly relaxing. The room is large and clean, with very new facilities. The bedding and bathroom amenities are all of high quality, showing great care in their selection. The lady at the front desk was warm and thoughtful, and responded quickly to any questions. I have to mention the breakfast here: authentic Bai-style rice noodles plus coarse grains – abundant and delicious! There's also hot milk. Even just eating breakfast here brings a full sense of happiness. I'll recommend it to my friends and will definitely come back again!

A small hotel but very convenient. Location on the main street og Dali Old Town. Happy to be upgraded to suite room. Very big room. Recommended to stay here.

My absolute favorite courtyard stay in Dali! No exaggeration, just pure recommendation. This is hands down my favorite guesthouse I've ever stayed at in Dali! The location right inside the ancient city makes it super convenient to get everywhere. 👍 The courtyard is comfortable and quiet – truly a fantastic stay! I stayed for three nights and honestly didn't want to check out! 👉 'You Jian Qingshi Tingyuan Hotel' (See You Again Bluestone Courtyard Hotel) The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offer a great view of the entire courtyard. It's well-equipped and the space is really big with a great design. The bedding is soft and fragrant, and it's clean and tidy – so comfortable to stay in! The room also has a mini-fridge with complimentary drinks! The breakfast selection is quite rich. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Dali!

Stayed one night in Dali Ancient City… so comfortable I didn't want to leave. Getting there by taxi was super convenient; the location is excellent. There are tons of restaurants nearby, and the ancient city is lively at night. The hotel environment is great! There's even a tea table, and the room is very spacious. The decor is really thoughtful. The hotel's public area also has a book bar – it was bliss just sitting there and chilling in the afternoon. The lobby has lots of tie-dye decorations perfect for photos 📷. Breakfast can be had in the ground-floor lobby or even in your room. The front desk service was so enthusiastic! A really great experience.

The hotel is right in the heart of the old town, with convenient parking and excellent hygiene. It's only a 3-minute walk to the pedestrian street, making for a superb stay! The hotel butler's thoughtful service made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

I seriously didn't want to leave this hotel! Dali Ancient City·Youjian Qingshi Courtyard Hotel (Yuer Road) is a real gem!! They offer 24/7 butler service and are located right in Dali Ancient City, which was super convenient for going to see the bonfire at night.

Second time staying here. It's super convenient right inside the ancient city. We had two rooms for three nights. They offer pickup and drop-off service, which is a nice touch. The front desk has coffee, and we received welcome fruit upon arrival, plus a goodnight dessert every evening. It's a really stylish guesthouse with incredibly warm service. Ladies, go for it! For those staying in the ancient city, I recommend the restaurant Chunsheng.

We stayed here for four nights with my parents and child, and everyone in the family felt very comfortable. First of all, this guesthouse is located right on Yu'er Road. Taxis can drop you off right at the entrance, and there are tons of restaurants and cafes nearby. We found great places to eat almost all within a 500-meter radius. Even though it's in a busy area, it was surprisingly quiet at night for sleeping. Plus, the guesthouse's cleanliness was excellent, the room was spacious, and the design was well-done. It also had air conditioning and floor heating, and the sunshine filled the room during the day, making it very pleasant. The staff were all wonderful too, greeting us warmly and helping us arrange airport transfers. This is a genuinely spontaneous review I wrote myself; I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone I know.

The B&B is conveniently located on Yuer Road, easy to find, and the hotel's pick-up driver dropped us right at the entrance. The front desk staff, a very enthusiastic young man, contacted us in advance to inquire about our needs and arranged a sunny, first-floor room for us. He even helped carry our luggage directly to the room upon arrival. The room was spacious with a sunny tatami area. In winter, stepping in, we were greeted with floor heating and fresh fruit – a warm and delightful touch. Sitting on the tatami, watching fish swim, listening to the gentle breeze, and basking in the warm sun, Dali's charm subtly revealed itself in these unassuming moments. The handsome front desk guy explained the B&B's design philosophy and material sourcing; every detail, like the bluestone carving and green bamboo at the entrance, reflects careful thought and effort. The room design is simple, bright, and comfortable, with impeccable hygiene. The environment is elegant, the service meticulous and warm, and the facilities are complete. The common areas are also very comfortable. The bedding in the room was excellent too. Breakfast is served individually, well-balanced, and the rice noodles were delicious. My elderly family member has high blood sugar and can't eat too many starches, so it would have been great if there were more vegetables. Overall, we were very satisfied. It's a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, with convenient transportation. Yuer Park, Foreigner Street, Xiyun Academy, and Wenmiao Temple are all nearby and within easy reach.

My friends were surprised when I told them this B&B experience was 'superb,' saying they'd never use such a strong word for a guesthouse. But the genuine happiness I felt made me realize I wasn't exaggerating at all: complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off; a family of three enjoyed a twin room with a free breakfast provided daily. The breakfast was incredibly well-balanced and served on a Japanese-style tray – a bowl of rice noodles, a small bowl of congee, a cup of milk, and several small dishes containing a piece of corn, a piece of sweet potato, two small fruits, a plate of pickles, and a small steamed bun. It was both exquisite and comforting. Watching the auntie busy in the kitchen preparing our breakfast felt incredibly homely and warm. On winter evenings, the moment you stepped back into the hotel, you could feel the warmth of the underfloor heating. Then, settling down cross-legged on a wide, knee-high tatami mat to enjoy a bowl of white fungus and red date soup, thoughtfully prepared by the owner – how could such abundant happiness not make you want to stay? Plus, our twin room was on the ground floor, so every morning when we opened the door, we could see the flowers and plants in the courtyard. Outdoor wooden chairs with soft cushions were arranged around the greenery, perfect for soaking up the sun – absolute bliss. Not to mention the three young owners, who provided us with incredibly practical travel and sightseeing tips, ensuring I had a fantastic time even without planning ahead.

I loved this place from the first moment, from the moment the staff invited me to have lunch with them! The room is fabulous, the location is also great, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very kind and always smiling! Highly recommended.

It was extraordinary experience. We traveled with 3 teenagers, family of 5. The rooms are spacious, the staff, and especially Nina are so helpful. The rooms are super clean, tidy and cozy. Every night we had a lovely surprise night sweet and healthy treat. The stuff helped with everything and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel though about every detail. Definitely recommended hidden gem.
