Yanniao Guiqiao Hidden Luxury Hotel

Our family room stay is massive. Staffs are very helpful and willing to help you with everything you asked for. Locate inside ancient town, taxi can drop you off not far off hotel entrance. Station and airport pick up/ drop off is also available.

Very good location in the ancient town. Vehicles cannot access here but the closest spot was only about 2 minutes walk away. Staff helped to collect our luggage from that spot. It is in a quiet area. Easy to get to the shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable. Slightly dated .Staff were friendly.

Good location hotel , located near ancient city, with walking distance to restaurants, bar and grocery. Nicely decorated home stay with roof top amazing view of chang mountain! Only short coming was the simple breakfast and not much selection of food! Overall comfortable stay and i will recommend who want to have a quiet stay, please choose here.

It was love at first sight. The kind owner picked us up from the pick-up point, the courtyard is filled with beautiful flowers, a gorgeous Labrador greeted us with a wagging tail, the room is spotlessly clean, and the breakfast is comforting. The owner is incredibly informative and eager to help. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer.

I had one of the best experiences in China with Yanniao. The location is near to the main road where cars can drive into the old town, making it convenient for families that don’t want to walk long distances Beyond that, the staff is friendly, the boss is amazingly helpful. I needed some help with itinerary and he took time to explain to me without trying to sell me anything. The genuine kindness I felt made this stay memorable. Thank you Yanniao Staff!

Tranquil stay inside Dali Ancient City I stayed at Yanniao Gui Qiao and loved its location—right inside Dali Ancient City yet tucked away from the crowds. It’s peaceful and quiet, but still close enough to the main street that getting a Didi is easy. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful. The owner brews excellent tea and gave thoughtful recommendations for nearby sights, and a younger staff member shared insightful perspectives on life in Dali that added a personal touch to the stay. My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast changed daily, featuring tasty local dishes that felt both authentic and well-prepared. Overall, a great choice for anyone seeking calm, convenience, and heartfelt hospitality in Dali.

Aesthetically, the hotel is very charming, decorated in a traditional style. The rooms are spacious and even have a small balcony where you can relax after a day. The hotel staff is very friendly and helped us throughout our stay, both with booking local excursions and with all the daily activities. The hotel also has a small, four-legged guardian, a very sweet and affectionate Labrador. Breakfast varies daily and is freshly prepared by the staff. You can also request afternoon tea with local snacks. I highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in Dali or on Erhai Lake.

The hotel is nice and cosy with comfortable bed. Toiletries like toothbrush were provided. Toilet with Bidet .The inn keeper contacted us via WeChat. Instructions were given on where to alight & the staff also came to pick us up from the intersection & helped us with the luggage. It's about 2min walk to the hotel from the intersection. It is about 40 min drive from the Dali train station. The hotel is located at the Ancient Town. Walking distance to halal eateries about 7-10min walk. There were 3 nearby halal eateries but only 1 opens at 5pm, the others open after 6pm. Breakfast was provided, vegetarian food, as the staff was told that we only ate halal food. Many shopping areas with walking distance. We also got the staff to help us with the booking of a tour. We were presented with a gift upon checkout. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.
