This hotel is absolutely wonderful! The ambiance is elegant, and the rooms are spacious and bright. It's very quiet, and there are plenty of relaxation areas where you can enjoy a pot of tea – it's incredibly pleasant! After all the stress from work, this vacation with my family instantly felt restorative. The air quality is also excellent! The front desk staff provided outstanding service; they were so warm and welcoming. The room even came with a variety of snacks and fruits. My child was super happy, eating dragon fruit while taking a bath, she said it was amazing! Breakfast had a great variety, and the noodles were delicious too. We just took our time, strolled around, and enjoyed the sights.

The hotel is less than a ten-minute walk to the North Gate of the Old Town. There aren't many rooms, but the views are superb and the atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful. The overall vibe is very chill, and the butler service is attentive. It has the professionalism of a chain hotel, which is quite rare in Dali. The hotel's buffet breakfast is decent, but the variety is a bit limited. The in-room minibar is complimentary. Turndown service included a rose pony plushie and flower cakes 🥰. On New Year's Eve, there were three fireworks displays, creating an excellent ambiance. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dali!

Just checked out and wanted to leave a glowing review while it's fresh in my mind. Our family of three stayed in the 280 sqm private hot spring villa, and the space was incredibly generous! It was our first time staying in such a huge hotel, and it was so comfortable; our child had a blast running around the room. What we loved most was the private hot spring in the courtyard. Using the hot spring bathing set, soaking in the warm water melted all the fatigue from our journey away. The room facilities were very new, the bedding was comfortable, and the rice noodles at breakfast were delicious too. The butler service was incredibly attentive and responsive to all our needs; we just had to contact them directly for anything. The security guard at the entrance even helped bring our takeaways to the room. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable, and relaxing place in Dali, this would be an excellent choice.

This hotel definitely deserves five stars! I've stayed in three different guesthouses in the ancient town, and while this one wasn't the most expensive, I personally think it offered the best value for money. They provide airport pick-up and drop-off, complimentary welcome fruit, and private courtyards that ensure a disturbance-free stay. The air conditioning was just right, and the courtyard views were lovely. You can even see the Three Pagodas directly from the hotel lobby. The breakfast selection was decent, and the stir-fried dishes were particularly tasty. It's easy to hail a taxi, and the hotel is quite close to the North Gate of the ancient town. Regarding service, staff did help with luggage, but overall, it didn't quite match the level of established five-star hotels in Kunming. For instance, they didn't proactively confirm airport pick-up details with guests; I had to call and inquire before they added me on WeChat to coordinate. Also, the staff at the entrance didn't actively open or close car doors, and inside the hotel, staff weren't consistently smiling or greeting guests. It feels like the training could be improved. Another guesthouse I stayed at did a much better job in these areas, though it was significantly more expensive. All in all, despite these minor points, the value for money here is outstanding. It’s a great place to stay, especially if you’re traveling with children.

This hotel was the most comfortable we stayed at during our Yunnan trip with our dog. We booked a private hot spring villa, which was a truly independent house with its own courtyard. The house was completely self-contained within the yard, separated by courtyard walls, and the sliding glass doors offered great soundproofing, ensuring excellent privacy. The hotel is located at the north gate of the ancient town, but the complex itself is very quiet and not affected by outside tourists. The landscaping is beautiful, and we could see Cangshan Mountain right from our room in the morning. The front desk ladies provided excellent service. The butler's WeChat messages were mostly handled by the front desk, and they were always prompt in responding and quickly addressing guests' needs. When checking out, I accidentally left my ring in the room. The cleaning lady immediately contacted the front desk, and the security guard quickly retrieved it from the room and brought it to me. I'm very grateful! The hot spring in the courtyard was comfortable, but the only drawback is that the housekeeping service needs better training. On the first day, we filled the hot tub ourselves, and the butler arranged for the housekeeping auntie to bring us herbal bath sachets, bath salts, snacks, drinks, and towels. On the second day, before we used the hot spring, the housekeeping auntie filled the water and was about to leave. We asked her if the hot spring amenities weren't prepared, and she actually asked us, "Do you want to use them?" We were speechless. We then asked her about the hot spring towels, and she said, "Aren't there towels in the bathroom? You can go and get them yourselves." We don't know why she was in such a hurry to leave. If she was afraid of dogs, my dog was kept in the room and wouldn't have bothered her at all.

Took my beloved to Dali for New Year's Day. After calling to inquire about the room types, I decisively made a reservation. The butler was beautiful and provided attentive service every day, answering all our questions and even arranging a thoughtful itinerary for visiting the Three Pagodas. Both the estate's environment and the breakfast were full of delightful surprises. Upon arrival, Dali's winter cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and the cherry trees at the entrance were absolutely stunning. The hot spring pool was very comfortable, and while soaking, we could even spot little squirrels scampering on the trees. My partner loved every detail of the estate, and we'll definitely stay here again if we have the chance.

The rooms are spacious, with each building having two floors. The first floor features a king-size bed and a small courtyard, while the second floor offers twin beds. The resident manager is a foreigner who speaks fluent English with an accent, and he's very kind. The breakfast is quite good; while it can't compare to a five-star hotel, it's definitely above average for hotels of a similar size. The hotel's courtyard landscaping is a real highlight – complete with small bridges and flowing water, beautifully arranged. I wasn't expecting that at all. When I booked, I thought it was just a regular guesthouse, but I was genuinely impressed when I saw the landscaping. I also have to mention the staff; their service is comparable to a five-star hotel. They helped us with our luggage both ways, greeted us warmly, and even explained the room facilities upon arrival. Since we booked a twin room on the second floor, an older gentleman, looking quite senior, helped us carry our bags up without even breaking a sweat – truly impressive! When we checked out, two staff members accompanied us to the hotel entrance, helped load our luggage into the car, and then gave us directions to our next attraction. They even thoughtfully prepared some small snacks and waved us off as we left, which made us feel incredibly pampered. The hotel is very close to the North Gate of Dali Ancient City, just a 5-minute walk. From the hotel, you can see the three white pagodas of the Chongsheng Temple, Dali's only 5A-rated scenic spot, which is only a 5-minute drive away. The only minor inconvenience is that you need to call a taxi a bit in advance. My husband and I both used two different apps on our phones, and it took about 15 minutes for a driver to accept the ride.
