Zhongchen International Hotel

I was on a business trip to Dalian University of Technology and after browsing many hotels online, I finally chose Zhongchen International Hotel. I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel's location is easy to find, the room is spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and it's clean, tidy, and quiet. The breakfast is abundant, and every staff member has a great service attitude, especially the young lady at the front desk – she's pretty and provides excellent service. Next time I'm on a business trip, I'll definitely stay here again.

This hotel is conveniently located near the software park, with a large shopping complex nearby offering various dining options like Burger King, KFC, McDonald's, and many more. The twin room here is quite unique; one of the beds is in a separate alcove. This design is great if someone snores or for friends traveling together, as it minimizes disturbance. I've never seen such a design in China before, making it ideal for business trips and family stays. However, a major downside is the lack of delivery robots. All food deliveries and packages pile up in the express delivery room on the first floor. For a hotel priced over 400, not having delivery robots is quite unusual.

The rooms were fantastic! We had two separate rooms with individual beds, which was perfect for our family to have our own space. The hotel's breakfast was also excellent, with different stir-fried dishes every day. My husband still talks about the tomato and beef brisket even after we've returned home!

For a hotel that costs over 500 a night, there's no room service, and I had to go downstairs myself to pick up takeout. The shower water was hot and cold for several days straight, and the drain was very slow. The hairdryer had very weak power; after 3-5 minutes, the handle would get hot, so if you have long hair, you have to blow, stop, and blow again. It took me three rounds to dry my hair. The TV's on-demand service wasn't activated, so I could only watch 5 minutes of my show. The room key kept demagnetizing for no reason, and the mini-fridge in the room was so noisy it affected my sleep. I've never stayed in such a bad hotel... Everything about it is not worth the price! Plus, floors 1-6 seem to be residential apartments, and the hotel only starts from the 7th floor...

Came with family to watch the Northeast Super League. Couldn't book a hotel closer, so we settled for one a bit further out. The environment was decent, but the sofa and bathroom were a little unhygienic. The facilities were okay though, and the desk and chair design was really good.

This hotel offers great value for money, and its location is fantastic for visiting all the popular attractions nearby. The cleaning lady on the 10th floor was especially wonderful; she greeted us with a smile every day during our two-day stay and was very responsive to our needs. You can really feel the warmth and hospitality of people from Northeast China! Plus, there were complimentary chips and drinks in the room.

The hotel staff were enthusiastic and the rooms were clean and hygienic. However, there's a small issue with the laundry room. Some guests don't pick up their clothes promptly after washing, and the front desk can't identify whose items they are, making it difficult to move them without permission. This leads to washing machines being occupied and long queues for laundry. I hope they can improve the management of this area; otherwise, I'm quite satisfied with everything else.

The TV couldn't change channels, the shower drained slowly, and the water temperature fluctuated between hot and cold. The room door was also difficult to open... These issues could be attributed to aging facilities. However, the lack of response from maintenance, the key card inexplicably demagnetizing, and the front desk staff not even looking up or making eye contact when responding to my queries – this level of service inaction is simply unacceptable! Oh, and the hotel breakfast had variety but tasted terrible, and the fruit was even rotten.

The room was great, I stayed on the 10th floor. The cleaning staff on the 10th floor kept the room spotless and very tidy. They were also very warm and thoughtful. I'll definitely be back next time.
