All rooms basically have internal partitions without windows, only two exhaust fans, and toothbrushes are not provided because they are not provided in all rooms. . . There is also no ventilation and a strong smell of formaldehyde. I can't stand it even if I open the door all night and lie down on the sofa to sleep in the doorway. The bed was damp and my whole body felt itchy while sleeping on it. Changing rooms is not possible, booking for two days, and checking out early are not possible. A very good mid-range deal at 170 rials for a double room. Everything looked new and was very clean. Towels provided and strong Wi-Fi, which are features that are rare in Saudi Arabia. The location is a bit of a wasteland: you are a 3 to 4 km hike away from the city centre (bus stations, hypermarket clusters, old town). The nearest (unmarked) city bus stop is about 1 km away. Close to the hotel is large Al-Tamimi supermarket, a few groceries and some snack-bars and restaurants.
