The B&B is completely Tibetan architecture, which is very unique. The room is large, clean, warm and comfortable with heating. When the weather is good, you can see the starry sky on the rooftop, which is a suitable place to relax. The boss is warm and welcoming, and the breakfast is nutritious and delicious. The location is right next to the Suopo ancient blockhouses. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful, and it is extremely comfortable when the sun comes out! I hope that the tourist road on the mountain will be repaired soon, so that the transportation will be more convenient. In addition, it would be better if the hot water can be reheated. Taking a bath at this temperature in winter is like a war (maybe the conditions on the mountain are limited), but it is probably okay in summer.

There are no other sounds in the village except the crowing of chickens, the barking of dogs, and the humming of pigs. It is a good place to relax. In order to make it easier to drive to the Diaolou Museum next to it, the roads in the village are being widened and are closed to traffic during the day. People can go up and down via small roads, but cars carrying luggage cannot enter or exit between eight in the morning and six in the evening. It seems that it will not be repaired until next summer. . There are two types of breakfast: set meal and noodles. Although they are simple, they taste good.

The B&B of my sister-in-law’s family was introduced in the documentary Chinese Folk Residences. Because I had watched the documentary, I already had a very good impression of my sister-in-law, and actually staying there was even more surprising. The hotel facilities are not bad, with heated toilet seats, comfortable mattresses, stable hot water, and central air conditioning. But what leaves me with good memories is sharing my travel experiences with my volunteer sister and sister-in-law. It’s really like visiting a friend’s house, without any of the impetuousness and anxiety that are inevitable when traveling. I wish my sister all the best in her volunteer life.
