City Edge Dandenong Apartment Hotel

One of the most disappointing experiences to date. After driving from interstate all we wanted was to relax in our hotel room. Driving along the busy street that the hotel entrance was located on there was no where to park our car to allow us to enter the front door of the hotel. After driving round the block 4 times we finally managed to park the car for a few moments. I entered the hotel foyer which was noting spectacular and asked where the parking was for the hotel. I was informed that once i checked in i would be given instructions. I checked in and tried to follow the instructions give and once again went round and round trying to find the hotel parking. I parked the car outside again and went back in and asked for clearer directions to the car park area which i was told was down a small lane. After finally finding the car park area which could contain only a few cars we then had to take a lift to the basement which then we had to take another lift to the ground floor walk around a corridor and finally take another lift to our apartment. Once on the level of our apartment there were no smoking signs everywhere but the place had a very stroke smoke smell throughout. Once inside our apartment it was frozen cold inside and not the cleanest plus the television was not working. I called the hotel manage and unformed him that unfortunately we could not stay here. We had not unpacked or used any of the facilities and would not have been in the room more that 5 minutes. I was advise to contact you direct for a refund as this was not to our satisfaction. This was one of the most stressful experiences we have ever had and i would not recommend these facilities to anyone. I hope that i can rely on you to supply us with a full refund on this very dissapointing experience

From checking in, to parking and then the apartment itself, our time at the exodus was a disaster. After almost 30 minutes checking in and parking we made it to the room on the 4th floor. The whole complex had a good smell to it and this was amplified once we opened the room up. The second bedroom had a window opened that was above the back of several local restaurants. The apartment was unclean. The towel on one of the beds had a distinct dirty handprint on it. The sink had cooking oil all over it. The sheets and pillow cases were stained. The floor was dirty. The furniture had food and hair in it. We lasted less than three hours. After paying over $200 for it we left and found other accommodation. There was no one on reception. I called the after hours number and got nothing. Steer clear of the exodus in Dandenong.
