The place was pretty decent. The location is pretty good, next to train station. The water was freezing cold tho, only thing I could complain about. The rest pretty good

Go out from Dandong railway station. Turn left and walk about 50m, you will see this hotel. A little old.
Clean and quiet room. Nearby is the bus hub where one can take a bus ride to Andong old town. We also walk to the Yalu broken bridge from here. Would stay again if coming to Dandong

I love this hotel and stay here every time I am in Dandong, Yes it is old and decrepit, but the staff are lovely and it is a great loaction. You get two choices of view, Chairman Mao, or trains, what is not to like about that.

Standard hotel. Stayed 2 nights. Easy to get around as there is a bus hub in front and about 500 meters walk to the river. The hotel is quite old, traditional and clean as it could be. The best part for me is its location. It’s the tall building on the left, once you get out of the railway station. It was raining on the day I arrived, and I was not equipped with rain gear, but could still got away with a few hundred meters running. My room was on 13th floor, facing the river side. On a sunny day, the North Korea side is visible

We were grateful that the hotel came to our rescue. We were turned away by a hotel that accepts only local travelers which we had mistakenly booked on a local apps. This hotel offers good value for money.

Pros: quite clean. The beds are pretty comfortable and they give spring water from Changbai mountain instead of filtered bottle water. You can oversee North Korea from the window.
Cons: bathroom made me quite speechless. The fact that the shower and toilet are in the same space was less of an issue, but the set up is like a public shower in China and it's not the most comfortable place to get ready. Towels were clean but very old. Only one light in the room and the only switch is by the door. They need a bit of a renovation asap.
