The snell of cigarettes are overwhelming!! Even in the "nonsmoking" room, the smell of stale cigarette is terrible!!

We originally had on our reservation 3:00am check in. We drove for hours, I called at 3:20 told them we would arrive in 45 minutes the girl said ok. We got there and they SOLD our room at midnight!!!!! She told us!! No help in finding room at another hotel!! Then 3 days later they charged us for the room.

Smelled like cigarette smoke in the room, breakfast was basically nothing, the only positive about the hotel was the hot water.

The lady that checked us in wasn’t friendly, the elevator was broken and I’m pregnant and had two young children and had to carry all our bags up 3 flights of stairs. The bathroom and the walls are gross but the sheets were clean.

Check in lady was having a really bad day. She was rude to a couple guests in front of me and that didn’t change when it was my turn. When I questioned the paperwork upon checkin, her answer was “what does it say?” Totally blew me off. Judging my observations before, during, and after check in, she doesn’t like white people. I would be surprised if this hasn’t been mentioned before. Additionally, I have pictures of my room upon entering if anyone is interested. In the end, the lesson learned was I got exactly what I paid for… a $62.00 hotel experience. I’ll be sure to avoid this hotel chain in the future.

Our first room was dirty and the tv didn’t work. We switched rooms and that tv didn’t work either. It wasn’t important enough to switch rooms again. I tried booking again a couple weeks later and the black lady at the front desk refused to rent me a room because I live in West Virginia. I’m from mingo county. Almost 3 hours away.

No elevator. Rain coming in room..needed towels and bucket..offered free pet fee. Would not stay again.

When we arrived for our 3 nights stay, the clerk was extremely rude. I prepaid when I reserved the room. She kept saying that I didnt pay. I had to show on my phone my receipt. Then she stated that the door key machine was working and we would have to leave the door open when we leave. We werent leaving until morning and the machine was being replaced in the morning. Our room was supposed to have a fridge. It didnt. I asked about it and was told to use the ice machine. There was a big brown spot on the floor between the beds. The next morning, I went to talk to the manager Jim. He didnt even know which room we were in. He moved us to another room. The key card didnt work and when it did work we walked into an occuplied room. He had know idea where the night clerk placed everyone. Jim gave us cards for another room and they didnt work. We eventually got into a room where the key cards worked. The room was decent. Except the toilet didnt work properly. And of course we didnt discover this until the middle of the night. I complained about the toilet the next morning as we were leaving for appointment. When we returned, it was fixed. In all, it was one thing after another at the hotel. I would not stay there again.

On the day of arrival and departure, the card readers were not working and had to be let back in my room by the gracious front desk personnel each time I left and returned. I was told that the card readers were down for the past 3 days. Also, the carpets were mostly very worn out throughout the hotel. People were nice and the room was wonderful.
