Rui Feng Hotel

Staying at Ruifeng Tower was definitely the best decision for our Datong trip! The hotel is located right in the heart of the ancient city, within walking distance of attractions like Huayan Temple and Shanhua Temple, making it super convenient. The rooms have an antique charm, and when you open the window, you're greeted with the sight of traditional courtyards and intricate eaves. What truly delighted me were the books in the room. Reading them before bed, the glory of Pingcheng during the Northern Wei Dynasty and the prosperity of the Liao and Jin secondary capitals came alive on the pages, adding a wonderful cultural depth to our journey. The breakfast buffet was abundant, and the staff were warm and professional. Next time I'm in Datong, I'll definitely choose Ruifeng Tower again, to immerse myself in the unique charm of this ancient capital amidst its scholarly ambiance and historic beauty!

Booked two rooms for my family. The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around. The rooms were clean and tidy, offering great value for money. The breakfast was plentiful, and the dining environment was pleasant. Highly recommend!

This hotel boasts an excellent location right within Datong Ancient City scenic area, directly opposite Huayan Temple. It's incredibly convenient, as you can walk to Shanhua Temple, Nine Dragon Screen, Daiwang Mansion, and Fahua Temple. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel environment is beautiful and elegant. The breakfast spread is rich and varied, and their handmade yogurt from Hongqi Grand Hotel is absolutely delicious! Their Ruifeng Lou restaurant is even better than the famous Fenglin Ge. Definitely worth staying here.

Highly recommend this unique hotel! It has a charming, antique feel with a rich cultural atmosphere, and the service is excellent. The food offers authentic Shanxi specialties, which I particularly enjoyed. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Datong.

The hotel is very close to Huayan Temple, just across the street, a few minutes' walk away. It's outside the restricted traffic zone of the ancient city, making car access convenient. There's free parking available on the 3rd underground level. The exterior is designed in an antique style, and the lobby is lavishly decorated.

The hotel is new and beautiful, the food is delicious, and the service is great. However, it's a bit inconvenient that there's no bathtub.

This is the view from the deluxe king room's window, and they told us there were no other rooms available when we asked to switch. Apparently, this place is popular for business dinners; the restaurant is quite busy, and the elevators are constantly full of people going to eat. I'll keep that in mind next time! ⚠️

This hotel is located within the ancient city walls and has its own restaurant, serving a good breakfast. I booked a Ryan twin room this time, which had an external window that could be opened – great for when it got too warm at night. The hotel is just across the street from Huayan Temple and isn't far from popular spots like Xijin Dao, Fengling Pavilion, and Zini 369, making it super convenient for getting around. They even offered extra bottles of water at check-in. The cleaning staff not only tidied up but also folded my pajamas, which was a lovely touch.
