The caravan area is all gravel & shade is scant. The pool is cool & clean, the beer garden is a little oasis. Meals are generous. Amenities block could do with some TLC. No dump point. The park was quite full as there are not many van spots available.

Wonderful overnight stay! Camped in tent and swags in the grassed area, close to amenities. My shower had great water pressure, beer garden is fabulous and meals the best we’ve had on the road 5/5! Meals eastern were bangers and mash, 2 scotch fillets, 1 ribeye, 1 chicken schnitzel- comments were “best schnitty I’ve ever eaten” “steak worth its price” “I could only eat half of it, mash was fab”. Compliments to the chef, we are in the middle of nowhere and it was a restaurant meal. They’ve been upgrading and adding to the rooms available, free camping out the front of the pub and great staff. A full park but no noisy guests.

Staff dismissive. Plastic plants in room covered in dust. Verandah, but no chairs to use. Food poor.. had Lasagne undercooked and then over No wifi offered TV didn't work 1/4 roll toilet paper, no disregard in cupboard, Microwave but no dishes to use Bed mattress cheap quality as roll together Website menu a year out of date prices 1/3 more expensive.

Nice place to stay to break the trip up from Darwin to Alice. They have a swimming pool which would be great in the wet season. Our room was clean and comfortable. Bar dude helpful and friendly. They had a lot of gold plates for best road house food but it was ok! The coffee in the morning was good again friendly service. Too many mozzie to sit outside at night but that is because there is a lot of water around after a big wet. It was a popular stop over by other travellers too. I would definitely recommend the location but more likely to stay in our camper only because of the cost. Only need a powered site. If I had more time I would have done the viewing of the devil marbles at sunset.
