Detian No. 61 B&B Detian Waterfall Branch is an absolutely fantastic hotel in every aspect, exactly as advertised. We never expected to find such a high-quality B&B in such a beautiful, fresh-aired mountain setting. What's more, it's so close to the scenic area that you can walk there. The rooms inside the B&B are clean, tidy, comfortable, and quiet, with no strange odors. The staff were warmly welcoming and provided thoughtful service, even proactively helping us purchase tickets for the scenic area. Not only did they provide breakfast, but they also offered afternoon tea. On our last night, the staff even invited us to have dinner with them, which truly touched us. All in all, we were extremely satisfied with our three-day stay and highly recommend it.

The inn is right next to the tourist center, across the street, and about 10 kilometers from the actual Detian Waterfall scenic area. We bought the scenic area ticket and round-trip bus ticket online for 115 yuan. Then we walked a few minutes from the inn to the tourist center to catch the round-trip bus. It was very convenient and highly recommended. The hostess was warm and attentive, and their stir-fried dishes were really delicious.

My room's toilet was a bit too smart and needs to be fixed soon, but everything else was good.

3. The dining quality is excellent, with top-notch dishes. Breakfast offers both buffet and à la carte options.
4. I suggest the hotel treat the butler lady a bit better; haha; a little more enthusiasm from her would make it absolutely perfect.

GGuest UserFrom the moment I stepped into this guesthouse, I was captivated by the lobby's decor: minimalist and elegant, rustic yet stylish! A quick chat with the charming owner immediately conveyed her warmth and trustworthiness. The room, equipped with two single beds and one large double bed, is perfectly set up for family travel – they truly understand what families need! Breakfast was nutritious, healthy, and deliciously varied. The 'auntie' serving it was incredibly warm, making us feel right at home, like part of the family! There's also a self-service laundry room. All in all, this is a guesthouse that is absolutely worth looking forward to and can be completely relied upon. 👍👍👍

GGuest UserWe extended our stay from before and we had another 3 days vey pleasant stay. As already mentioned in our recent review all was perfect. There are only a very few local restaurants around, but the Lu Lin restaurant in the middle of the two hotel buildings served us every evening with very good and delicious local food. A special thanks to the small family restaurant Lu Lin!

The homestay has a fantastic location, right on the main street of Shuolong Town, near the gate, making transportation very convenient. It's also close to attractions like Detian Waterfall and Mingshi Pastoral Area, making it easy to start your sightseeing. Facing Vietnam, you can experience its unique culture and customs, while nestled against the mountains, offering stunning natural scenery. It's perfect for taking amazing photos. The owners and staff were incredibly helpful, and I especially want to praise their cooking – the lunches and dinners were exquisite and delicious, creating a truly relaxing vacation atmosphere! The rooms were clean and tidy, thoughtfully decorated, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, making for a very comfortable stay.
Whether it's a family trip, a romantic getaway, or a solo trip, Yijun Homestay is an excellent choice. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chongzuo!

The hotel owner, Shaowei was there to help us in every possible way. She brought us to see the panoramic view of Mingshi Tianyuan with her own expenses. She also took us to another place to watch native people’s dance, sing and bonfire after dinner. She also helped me to catch a local bus to another town. Her kindness was simply beyond my expectations. If I come back to Mingshi, the reason will be not the town itself, but Shaowei.
2. Flawless cleanness
Everything looked to be built just now. Clean, comfortable and tidy. No smell of cigarette or whatsoever.
3. Decent breakfast
Breakfast is simple but the taste is good. You can enjoy rice noodle, rice porridge and fruits with good tea and soy milk.
4. Great location
The hotel is located close to the bus station and you can get on any local bus passing by easily. Good restaurants are everywhere nearby as well.

DDouxinglouThe only highlight of this guesthouse, in my opinion, was the food. The mini bananas were delicious, and the paid dinner also exceeded expectations – it was quite good. The service, however, was different compared to Yangshuo. What's more, the external environment was terrible; guesthouses were under construction everywhere, and the road was dug up, making it impassable. Then, the 270-degree mountain view room I booked: not only were the rice paddies in front harvested, but they were burning the stalks, which was very acrid (I won't complain about this due to the season). To the left, there was just discarded stone and other debris, completely unlike the window view advertised. The hotel didn't inform me of any of this when I booked. Other hotels usually advise guests if there might be construction nearby so they can decide whether to stay. This was a very bad experience. Even if the hotel can't control the external situation, they should at least inform us, the consumers. We have a right to know!

TTravelwULove at first sight. The view from our rooms was beautiful. The rooms were tastefully furnished. The beds were very comfortable. Clean sheets and towels. Modern amenities. The automatic toilet bowl was amazing. I wished I had one at home in Malaysia. We enjoyed the breakfasts. I am good with the healthy options and free flow of soy milk. I suggest using the ceramic bowl for the hot soy milk instead of the plastic bowls provided. Do bring your own hot water flask. Hot water dispenser available.We had all our meals in the hotel. The food was delicious. Do try the free range chicken with mushroom soup. Very comforting. Our morning walk in the village was lovely. Plenty of vegetable farms. Mr. Wei, the manager was very attentive and friendly. He offered to ferry us to Detian waterfalls for a fee as there were no taxi or e-hailing. Overall, we had a pleasant and wonderful two day stay. Highly recommended.
PS. Do close the two small windows behind the curtains for better noise insulation.

EEatPrayTravelLocation of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.

However, upon checking in, we were immediately and pleasantly surprised by several things: the thoughtful shuttle service from the hotel staff, the picturesque surroundings, the ethnic-style decor in our room, and the well-maintained facilities – which were far from old! Our family instantly felt we had made the absolute right choice. We also received complimentary fruits and souvenir tea upon check-in. In the evenings, we could enjoy performances, and the Fish Scale Dam was just a short walk away. Everything was simply wonderful! We're so glad we decided to come to Chongzuo, Mingshi Pastoral, and this resort! This entire trip was truly memorable and left us longing to return.

GGuest UserThe area is beautiful. The tent and tent area are very nice. My kids loved it! The receptionist Li Lin 李霖 and the rest of the team are very nice and helpful. Beds are comfortable. The pillow was too high for me, but my husband didn’t complain. If you are light and sound sensitive when sleeping, then bring earplugs and sleeping eye mask, because is a tent, of course. The tent I booked was very comfortable in size for two adults and two kids. It had two queen beds and one single bed. There is tv and amenities (shampoo&Co, toothbrush, shaving kit, hair dryer). Breakfast was Chinese style buffet, which we are happy with. The restaurant belongs to another hotel in the same area (there are several hotels in that park). You can order bbq set. Nice quality meat and veggies. I would recommend this camping area for any family with kids. There is a playground area as well and is nice to walk through the trees.
