Leonardo Plaza Hotel Dead Sea

The hotel was very dirty. The maintenance level is terrible. The rooms are full of dust and wear and tear. The reception is overcrowded during check-in, and there aren’t enough staff members. The breakfast food isn’t fresh. The smells throughout the hotel are awful. We were very disappointed and will not return!

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price The hotel feels very outdated. The room I stayed in had plain, poorly painted walls and overall looked quite old. The bed was especially uncomfortable—it was actually two single beds pushed together, and they kept shifting apart during the night. The third floor, where my room was located, had a strong and unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was also in need of serious renovation; everything felt worn and far from modern standards. Given the condition of the facilities, the high price is definitely not justified. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.

The hotel is old!!! that is why some of the facilities are not well organized. except that the stay was good, and remember that you need to pay VAT.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Great staff and special shout out to Tal who was very attentive to the customers. Room and grounds are clean and well maintained. Upon check in we received a gift of large size Dr. Mud's shampoo, conditioner and a packet of Dead Sea mud. Later they brought complementary sodas, water , chips/ snacks. Breakfast and dinner were tasty, with a large variety of dishes to choose from.

This place is marketed as a hotel, but in reality it feels more like a low-quality hostel. The food is mediocre, lacks flavor, and offers almost no variety. The rooms are outdated and poorly maintained, and on our floor there is constant construction noise throughout the day. The pool area is currently almost empty, yet the music is blasted so loudly that it even disrupts our sleep. Although the property claims to be all-inclusive, it really isn’t, just three basic meals and drinks. Between meals, there’s only a single hour where coffee and pastries are available. Do yourself a favor: skip this place. I wouldn’t come back even if it were free.
