Number One B&B

I wondered whether Number One B&B would live up to its high rating and it did. We had an excellent stay. Our ro was well appointed, with everything you might want for a short stay from a range of toiletries to a comfortable bed. The guidebook sent by the property before we arrived provided helpful information and the cooked breakfast was excellent. Our hosts were welcoming and usefully indicated where we might have dinner.

Room was very comfortable, spotless and the hotel was in a great location. Breakfast was truly outstanding, plenty of choices and so fresh. Susan was a lovely host and welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit/stay here if you’re considering a visit to Deal.

Had a great stay here for a couple of nights. Located just off the seafront and very convenient for all local pubs and restaurants. Room was very nice and really well looked after with everything you could want for a short stay. Great choice for breakfast and all cooked to perfection. Would not hesitate to recommend Number One B&B.

Fab B&B!! Everything about it 5*..comfy bed and room, even a mini bar which was reasonably priced, unlike some hotels. The lovely owner clearly wanted you to have the best experience including the best breakfast I think I've had anywhere! Deal is a special place, stayed because my partner was part of a blues band playing locally, but visited the castle also which was an unexpected treat as it was a truly unique place built by Henry Viii and is a must of things to do. Local pubs, fish n chips etc, wonderful too. We look forward to a return visit!

Exactly what was required for a one night stay. Good location and available street parking, clean tidy room, full mini bar, excellent set up and mobile info app and a VERY good breakfast!! Have recommended to friends for golf trips to the Kent coast area.

Clean, comfortable, central and with no corners cut (lovely soap and shampoo etc) . There was an Excellent breakfast with gorgeous fruits and then a tasty hot plate. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The room was quiet. Parking was easy.

Great central location, clean and comfortable, lovely local toiletries and superb quality breakfast. Which was a lovely touch. If you’re looking for true quality and a place that really takes pride in the quality of produce they serve at breakfast then this is the place for you. Don’t be put off by some comments about parking. Is a 2 minute walk along a charming historic coastal road really that bad! No it’s not.

The room was cleaned and well stocked with a full minibar. Breakfast was outstanding and there was a lot to choose from. I would definitely stay there again. Great location, not too far from the sea and close to the high street for shopping and restaurants.

This is a superb B&B in Deal, a stone's throw from the beach, and a few minutes’ walk to Deal town centre. A warm welcome from the owners, a really nice room on the 1st floor (Walmer), a generous size king bed, plenty of storage and surface areas, tea, coffee, water, milk and biscuits. A good bathroom with excellent rainfall shower over bathtub. Good local bath products from Romney Marsh, spotlessly clean. Very unintrusive owners, once they let you in, with really good check in times from 11.30, you have your own keys and can come and go as you please. However they know the town well and recommended pubs and shops for my stay. The breakfast was superb, Sue puts on a fantastic breakfast, the cereals, fruit and juices are great, I had cranachan as a tip to the impending Burns Night. The local fresh apple juice was excellent. Then choice of cooked breakfast, eggs on toast and assorted options. I went for the Scottish breakfast special, which was a massive treat on a hot plate, Scottish square sausage, haggis, egg, mushrooms, potato farls, beans and toast. All delicious. As a friend has just moved to the town I am sure I will be back!
