We visited Mango Bay for a day last year, loved the location so chose an oceanfront room this year. The room and view was wow from the start! Tastefully decorated with a stunning view of the west coast, sunsets are memorable. Food very good, staff excellent, accommodation clean (housekeeping work very hard long hours) fave waitress Maxine. We would and hope to return to Mango Bay in a heartbeat. Make sure you go on free catamaran cruise it’s for around d 2 hours and very enjoyable.

After reading some of the reviews my sister and I were apprehensive about staying at Mango Bay. However, we need not have worried as I can't speak highly enough about the hotel. We stayed in a deluxe room which had a lovely view of the ocean and pool. Every area of the hotel was spotlessly clean (our main priority) and all staff were friendly, helpful and kind and the service was amazing. The food was excellent with a lot of choice. The beach is in the middle of a lovely bay, so we enjoyed lots of walks along the shoreline where you could see stingrays a few feet from the shore. There were a lot of complementary water sports and although we didn't take part in them it was lovely watching people water skiing and kayaking etc. It was lovely swimming in the crystal clear water, however, there is a dip a few feet in, but you do get used to that. Coming out is a bit tricky if you aren't stable on your feet. To sum up we had a lovely holiday and will definitely return. Thank you Mango Bay.

My favourite hotel, love the family, friendly feel. The staff are amazing, incredibly helpful and kind. This is our second time here and we will be coming back. Beautiful beach, the best location. Highly recommend ❤️. Food is great and management team very attentive.

We had a wonderful holiday at The Mango Bay hotel. This is truly a magical place to stay. The beach is stunning with crystal clear waters. Swimming with the turles was fantastic. The staff are so friendly and attentive with a special shout out to Damian and Rayden at the bar ! The food is very good with most days being table service for lunch and dinner. It's not surprising that visitors return each year. We are already planning our return visit for 2025.

Had a happy holiday here a few years back so brought hubby on a day pass as we were staying elsewhere. He wasn’t impressed - no sunbeds available by 10am. Very overcrowded on the beach so no solution there. Unfriendly staff. A very different clientele, may be due to half term, as don’t recall many children last time. A smoking and drinking crowd that were loud and very unlike the mature age set of the past. The lunch menu looked poor, but we actually enjoyed the food. Mango Bay use to have a reputation for its food, so that was reassuring. The other big change was the netted swim area, which is needed due to the mass boat traffic and jet skis. The cats didn’t use to stop one after one outside mango, so I suspected the turtles had moved in to the area …. So that’s the good news…. If you are a strong swimmer it’s not far to swim out to their anchorage (not very safe though). I saw 3 turtles, 3 sting rays and s huge tarpon in the morning. 4 turtles in the afternoon… So for me the day was worth it. Hubby not impressed for c £100 each though and days we won’t be booking

Could be so much better, in my opinion for the money it cos it was not worth it. My 5 year old loved it though as it’s a small hotel. The food was mediocre and the buffet lacked choice compared to other all inclusive hotels in Barbados namely sea breeze and savannah beach. The bar area is so small only enough table and chairs for about 14 people excluding the bar stools so when it rains no where to sit. The outside area in the evening has so much potential, they put on entertainment but table set up outside is poor and not the best at keeping areas clean day and night! A shame they didn’t serve mimosas with breakfast or just in general. The sea is beautiful and the rooms are clean. However no table on balcony which I really missed, I have to work when I travel so not having a table on my balcony with a coffee was disappointing. Towel pool/beach service should be part of your maid service or more accessible for pool users! The sun bed cushions were dirty from birds or fruit they had plenty so not sure why there were not taken in at night and replaced. I paid the same money to stay at sandals Barbados and it was out of this world! The staff were pleasant and there were some really lovely people, I would return for less money and eat out more, unless the food improved!

Just back from a wonderful 9 days at Mango Bay and can highly recommend it. The location is fantastic, on a stunning beach with crystal clear water and amazing snorkelling right off the beach. Stingrays, turtles and so many beautiful fish without needing a special boat trip. There is so much on offer at the water sports hut - kayaks, paddle boards, hobie cat boats, boogie boards all for free, you could go out on the water every day doing something fun. We didn’t have a problem getting sun loungers, although most people were already up and about by 7am so it might be more difficult later in the morning. The guys working on the beach are super helpful and will set more up if you need them. We were really pleasantly surprised by the food, the majority of lunches and dinners are a La carte which was really nice for all inclusive. Fresh fish on offer every night. Also pool bar food available 11-4 if you don’t feel like sitting in the restaurant at lunchtime. Can’t understand moans about wine as there were 2 different whites plus a red and a rosé on offer without extra cost. There were a couple of occasions when service and food could have been better but overall for all inclusive the food and drink was way better than places we’ve been to in the past. The rooms are fairly basic but there were comfortable beds including proper singles rather than a pull-out for our 2 children, always plenty of hot water and clean towels, and kept very clean so nothing to complain about there. One lady even washed our wet swimming stuff and hung it out on the balcony, I wish I’d got her name to mention her specifically. Lots of storage space for clothes and even an iron and board. The staff work so hard and certain individuals really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and at ease - special mention to Damian, Shemar and Sabrina on the egg station who makes the best eggs ever! Considering the price, I’d say this hotel is fantastic value for money and great for families. Eating out is eye-wateringly expensive in Barbados and the food at Mango Bay was good enough that we didn’t feel the need to eat out any time other than the Oistins Fish Fry. There’s even a 2 hour catamaran trip included so it really is all inclusive. I would happily go back repeatedly. Loved it!

Stopped in for a sunday breakfast, nice cosy beachfront hotel in Holetown serving good and delicious food...accomodating to locals who may just need a day off from the kitchen or during your lunch break from work...for it's location being on the west coast its quite affordable...always pleasant and friendly staff towards nonresidents....service was prompt and attentive...choice of food is of good quality and quantity as there's always a replenishing of the buffet...I'll be back!
