I booked Clair's for a one-night stay before heading to Victoria on the ferry the next day (the ferry harbor is very close). The property is unique historic house and has a fair amount of vintage furniture. My room was small, but very comfortable. The best part of the stay was the breakfast and the conversation with Clair and the one other guest. Clair is a very charming and interesting person with great stories, not to mention a chef, so the breakfast was delicious as well. What's more, she requests that guests be fully vaccinated, which goes a long way to putting one's mind at ease in these times.

We really enjoyed our stay. The antique furnishings & ornaments were fascinating to view - Clair gave us a tour of the house and the beautiful gardens. The breakfast presentation was lovely and the food very tasty. Clair takes a lot of care in making sure her guests have a memorable experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for something different. Nice area of Ladner within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants.
