High Plains Hotel at Denver International Airport

Location is kind of far compared to other hotels near the airport-- one of the last hotels at the end of the road. There were a bunch of dead moths in my room, but I guess on the bright side, I didn't see anymore. Breakfast is offered, but ended before 10am? It's fine overall, just not great. Good for the price, I didn't feel like I'm in danger.

Booked because it has 4.9/5 on trip.com. Hotel charged a fee for their shuttle (advertised on trip.com as free) and was old. Furniture was faded and shower lacked pressure. Staff was friendly but wouldn’t book again. Definitely better bang for your buck elsewhere

Not worth the $ crappy service

I needed a hotel for the night flight was canceled. I knew this wasn’t a 5 star and that was ok. My room was clean and I slept well.

They canceled my room before I arrived due to claiming that some "feminine product was flushed" and several rooms were flooded, so they suddenly had none left. Kicked me out into a blizzard. Would not call management. Would not let me sleep there. Would not provide transportation to the airport. I ubered back to the airport and had to sleep in the terminal. When I called, management was very rude to me on the phone.

I do not recommend. I have never felt so uncomfortable, the way the staff treated me and my family. We had on reservation and completed it only to make a new reservation starting 01/09/24 to 01/12/24 paid $487.44 which $150 of that was a deposit of $50 for each night. I’m a single mom with 3 of my children. I was in between houses having to stay at hotels for 6 weeks. Myself and children left the hotel to go get lunch and when I noticed I forgot my money I returned back to the hotel to find 2 staff members Stephanie a manger and her manager Elisa in my room going through my belongings the look on her face when I said what are you two doing.. it was like a deer in headlights. Immediately the general manager said we have a right to be in here. Mind you my Do Not Disturb was clearly outside of my door. I was in complete shock that I found them rummaging through my things. We’ve been in hotels since 11/17/2023 I work from home, my children home school, my 3 year old has toys here to keep him comfortable and busy away from screen time. My older son brought his ps5 on top of his computer for school, my other son has 4 pair of his shoes, we all have suit cases. We have laundry detergent and even dawn dish soap and hand soap. We’re not on vacation. We can’t afford to go out to eat every meal so we utilize the fridge with lunch meat cheese milk, we bring leftovers if go to dinner to eat the next day. Close to the airport.Free shuttle back to the airport,breakfast in the morning was good-scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns,cereal,coffee,muffins,toast etc.Very clean, staff was helpful. Reasonable priced.

Very old style rooms luckily it was in a convenient location which is what you’re basically paying for.
