Songtsam Meili Lodge

Although it was expensive, the hotel facilities, decoration, service and food were all 5-star in such a remote area. I still miss the local specialties in their afternoon tea set. I don’t know if it was because I was hungry at the time, but I liked it very much.

The room window faces the Meili Snow Mountain. You can sit on the balcony and watch the snow-capped mountains for a whole day. The hotel is not far from the county town. It is not troublesome to refuel, eat and replenish supplies. It is a little far from Yubeng Village. It is recommended that the hotel can add some nearby tour routes to make it more perfect!

Thanks to the hotel for upgrading me to a room with snow mountain view for free. Although I didn't see the golden mountain in the sun (the clouds were too thick), I still felt that the trip was worthwhile. It's amazing that there is such a hotel (especially the restaurant) in such a place. The 2km gravel road at the entrance made me sweat a lot when I drove here alone, but it was definitely worth it.

The road up is surmountable by a car. After getting on, I felt treated like a family member by Songtsan. Barley biscuits, ginger tea and cloth shoes were provided. The decoration in the room was warm and textured. I really want to bring Songtsan's carpenter back to decorate. Although I didn't see the snow-capped mountains (crying), I was lucky to get up the mountain safely before the fog started. The self-service afternoon tea, snacks and fruits were rich, and the breakfast had both white rice and local specialties. Thank you Songtsan for providing a warm and comfortable home-like accommodation in such a place, and thank nature.

Fortunately, we can see three different views from the room: heavy snow, clouds and mist, and the sun shining on the golden mountain. All the service staff are warm and polite, and it was a very pleasant stay.

It was not yet the peak season when we arrived, and the occupancy rate was not high. The lobby was being renovated, but the service was very good and professional! The room was very good, but the disadvantage was that the room with a large bed had no window, which was a bit depressing. The living room and my room were very comfortable, and I could directly see a peak of Kawagebo on the opposite side of the Meili Snow Mountain. Although it is not as good as the location down the mountain, I like Songzan! There were some minor accidents at breakfast, but the chef's communication after I left the hotel made me feel the standard of Songzan's service quality unexpectedly, and I had to give a heart manually! The hotel will wake up half an hour in advance on the premise that you can see the Rizhao Jinshan in the morning, which is a very warm service. Although we missed the Rizhao Jinshan, we got a heavy snow! Auspicious snow welcomes good luck, and it is also very perfect!

The hotel is on a hillside. There is a small opening on G214, which is a dirt road. It is two or three kilometers long. It is unsafe to drive at night. It is recommended to avoid driving at night. It is six kilometers away from the county town. The western restaurant on the sixth floor is very good for me, and the Chinese restaurant on the fifth floor is also very good for me. Unfortunately, there is no oxygen supply in the room. I left after staying for only one night. Others are impeccable.

Songtsam's hotels are basically good, the service is very warm, and the food at Meilishanju is great! There are more choices for breakfast food! While eating breakfast, looking at the Meili Snow Mountain in the distance, this is a vacation! I will choose to come back next time.
