The hotel was lovely!! Host and staff very kind and generous, delicious homemade breakfast, cosy room, and an outdoor pool and hot spring. When we arrived it was even snowing! Perfect for a quick mountain get away!

This hotel was a great place to spend a relaxing break in the beauty of the hills around Moganshan. The service of the hotel staff was fantastic and all requests were met with a smile and courtesy. Although there were no English speakers this was not a problem as everything we needed was provided. The food was really good and deffinately filled us up after a day walking in the hills. The only downside was that the hotel was a bit far from the nearest shops and facilities. Overall a great place to spend a relaxing weekend break away and deffinately worth revisiting.

The hotel was a nearly total disappointment. The room with a view on the mountains was actually a room with a view on a block of concrete, the building itself was very cold and not welcoming, the so called “spa” was merely a heart shaped pool, under renovation moreover. The breakfast was poor, just a tray with just a few dishes on it and bad quality food, we didn’t have anything to drink, no coffee, no tea, not even plain water. Pity. Only plus was the people working there, everyone very nice, but that’s not enough. The room was okay but totally overpriced.

Service: We booked a Japanese-style loft in Building 3 for more than 1,200 a night. When we got to the room, the air conditioner was not cooling. After turning it on for an hour, the room was still too hot, and there was a peculiar smell in the room. After communicating with the store, they said the air conditioner was not working. No problem, and there was no one living in Building 3 for a long time. We finally negotiated to change rooms, and the last room, which was very poor, cost more than 900, but we had no choice because everything around it was sold out during the peak season. . . .
Breakfast: Steamed buns, rice porridge and pickles. I have never seen such a perfunctory breakfast.
Buffet afternoon tea for two persons: None, don’t offer it. If you ask for it, you will miss the service time.
