Luhuadang Hotel

Got a free upgrade to a loft, and Building 88A had an absolutely amazing environment! The large balcony overlooked Naked Castle, and the hotel service was spot on. A truly fantastic stay!

The tourism bureaus in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai are truly exceptional, far surpassing those in the North. The homestays on Moganshan are well-equipped with various amenities and facilities; it's very convenient for tea, coffee, handicrafts, and dining. The only thing to note is that your visit can be heavily affected by the weather, so be sure to check the forecast beforehand.

Despite the non-stop rain during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, my stay at Luhuadang Hotel far exceeded my expectations. Since we booked three rooms, the hotel generously upgraded us to Villa 101, which includes a garden. As the villa has exactly three guest rooms, it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves, and the spacious living room was perfect for family members to relax together. Being a historical building, the facilities can't compare to modern hotels, but its rich historical ambiance perfectly complements Moganshan. The hotel's service was also excellent; requests were quickly attended to, which is much better than most state-owned hotels. Furthermore, the hotel's location is superb. It's not far from Luhuadang Park and Jianchi, and the Yinshan Street transfer point is within walking distance. Plus, it's right by the road, allowing for direct car access, which is much more convenient than many guesthouses tucked away on mountain paths. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Moganshan.

Just look at the photos, and you'll see how great the location and views are at this hotel! I researched so many hotels when planning my trip, and I'm so glad I chose Luhuadang – it truly exceeded my expectations! The scenery alone makes it worth every penny. All the attractions are nearby, just a 3-5 minute drive away. Even on a Dragon Boat Festival afternoon, I could still enjoy the beautiful scenery right from my room! I've already made plans to come back for a summer escape. From the front desk staff to the parking attendants, everyone was incredibly friendly, and the cleaning auntie was very thorough. Highly recommend! For a hotel in the mountains, cleanliness is key.

This hotel, housed in a Republic of China-era building, boasts rich historical and cultural charm. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I initially booked this place for its expansive views and the sunrise, but unfortunately, it was shrouded in thick fog for all three days and two nights of my stay. However, the misty atmosphere did offer a unique kind of charm. There used to be a scenic bus stop down the slope from the hotel, but for some reason, it's been removed. The hotel doesn't offer a shuttle service either, which was extremely inconvenient for my husband who has some mobility issues.

Every stay at Luhuadang Hotel is a wonderful surprise! Many thanks to the hotel for the arrangements; I was once again delighted to see a refreshed room type. This time, I stayed in a newly renovated old villa in the mountains. The views are incredible, with the balcony directly facing Naked Castle. The room is spacious, with a separate wet and dry bathroom area, and a living room. The bedroom also has a tatami area, perfect for a vacation. The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's definitely worth frequent visits.

The hotel boasts excellent transport links, within walking distance of Luhuadang Park and Jianchi scenic spot. The large terrace in front of the hotel offers a superb viewing platform. The hotel's understated luxury perfectly embodies the cultural heritage of its century-old architecture. The room facilities are clean and well-maintained. The staff provided exceptional service; they proactively added me on WeChat to send mountain routes and various ascent reminders. They also offered tremendous assistance and convenience to the two elderly members of my party, who are over 80. I'm incredibly grateful. This stay offered fantastic value for money. I will definitely choose Luhuadang Hotel again for my next visit.

Spent a day at Moganshan with the kids for spring break. We had great luck with the weather – heavy rain on the first day, then sunshine on the second. We stayed in 88A Chen Yi building, and from the balcony, we got to see a sea of clouds, the sunrise, and Naked Stables covered in mist during the rainy weather. The room was well-maintained, and the king-size bed was actually two beds put together, making it massive. Special thanks to the housekeeper who helped us carry our luggage upstairs. My only minor suggestion would be to change the breakfast from a buffet to a fixed menu; I think it would be more refined and help reduce food waste. Also, the toilet is smart, but the drainage might not be great, as there was a bit of an odor on cloudy evenings – it might need some maintenance. All in all, our two days at Luhua Dang Hotel were very enjoyable!
