The outdoor surfing pool is good, facing Lake Garde, but children have to pay an extra 45 euros.

The facility is large and comfortable, very clean. The restaurant offers medium-high level cuisine with good service. The rooms are large and all have a large balcony. There is also free parking.

This place is unnecessarily "fancy"! The reason I put fancy under quotes is that you will find all those that are not needed, but important basic things are missing. For example, I went on a business trip, I was expecting to find an iron to iron my shirt for the meeting. But hey, guess what, they did not even have an iron, not in the room, neither in the reception. Also, the receptionist are rude. They behave like they are doing you a favor. The day before checking out, I asked in the reception if I can get a taxi to the station in the morning at 5. I specifically told them the time, and they said if I just come in the morning 20 minutes before, they can get a local taxi for me no problem! But again, guess what! I went in the morning, they spent 20 minutes trying to get a taxi and when they failed, they asked me to go on foot to the station. There was this bald guy with glasses on at the reception, he was the worst. Do avoid him at all cost. Also, there are lots of other flaws. So please avoid this place. There are other nicer hotels nearby which you should go for, not this!

Excellent service. Lovely modern hotel. Thoughtful gift from the hotel of a bottle of Prosecco in our room to mark our wedding anniversary! The spa was a lovely addition. The breakfasts were the same each day, but the buffet was extensive so there was something for everyone. There are bicycles available to hire from the hotel, however, they need a careful check-over before you use them - we had to 'reject' several before we found a couple we were happy to use. The location of Rivotella is quiet, with just a few places to eat; the main area of Desenzano is about 45minute walk along the promenade. Would happily return to this hotel.

I was there with the family for a few days and we had a good stay at this property. It is situated in a lovely position close to the lake and the staff are very nice and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean. The restaurant offers good quality food.

Very nice hotel, i think it is the biggest and newest hotels on that area. Lake view is amazing, rooms are spacious and clean. Bed is hard, but it is okay. 2 swimming pools at the garden area and 2 jaccuzi at lake area. Tunnel goes under the hotel, so only quests can enjoy lake area. Pools and jaccuzis were not heated may-june time. Gym is good. Breakfast is very good. Bar is good. This hotel is better than in pictures. Parking in front of the hotel or in garage. Dog friendly (15.- per night + 30.- for cleaning after dog). Dogs are not allowed to restaurant or to SPA, by the pools they are allowed on the grass area.

I won't be coming back here. I had a great experience in the summer, but coming here in the winter I found out that there is no minimum age limit to the spa. Screaming babies in diapers were in the spa pool. Disgusting, unhygenic and extremely disturbing.
