One of the best places I've ever stayed. I am sure that there are fancier options on the island but I doubt they could beat this place for service, views and character. JJ and the rest of the staff are wonderful and could not be more helpful. The rooms were clean, bright and had comfy beds and brilliant air conditioning! We had an outdoor covered kitchen with seating that looked out on the immaculate and beautiful garden. Lovely little tropical birds were perched in trees just a couple of metres away and we saw several hummingbirds. The pool area was very nice and the pool was clean. When we stayed the hotel was slightly off-season and quiet - we only saw a couple of other guests at the pool - but it was still cleaned daily. There is an option for breakfast if you ask the night before. This is served on the terrace in the open or under cover depending on the weather and your preference. The breakfast was a delight. Generous portions, delicious pastries and a stunning view. The hotel did not provide other meals or drinks but there is a very generous fridge-freezer in the kitchen and a good mini supermarket a few minutes walk away, as well as other dining options. The kitchen has everything you would need to self-cater. The bus stop is nearby for access to Deshaies. The beach by the Fort Royal was an easy walk and from there you could walk over the headland through the woods to Plage de la Perle (check out Madras 2 there for lunch and drinks). It would be equally as good for families, romantic couples or groups of friends. Of note is the very steep hill approaching the hotel - it would not be ideal if you have mobility issues. If the slope is intimidating in a hire car, there are a couple of parking spaces halfway up that would be easiest. Thank you to JJ and his colleagues.

A really amazing location, fantastic views of the sea, and only a short distance (5 mins) by car to the famous Anse de la Perle beach. The apartments are fully equipped and the décor is lovely. Breakfast is an option if required.

Magnificent setting, large terrace with sea view, swimming pool, jacuzzi, tropical garden, very welcoming staff, very responsive to requests, friendly without being intrusive, very clean and functional modern premises, we love it!

Residence completely renovated recently (exit Caribbean happiness) place in residence with sea view. Total comfort for this residence, the renovated apartment with two bedrooms and private bathroom, terrace with its outdoor kitchen. Excellent welcome (even late in the evening), beautiful swimming pool, very well maintained outdoor area. Beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea. Ideally suited to the Caribbean Sea coast. Shops 5 minutes by car. I recommend this residence and its attentive and very friendly staff.

Hotel consisting of 22 studios and apartments scattered on a lush hillside, palm trees, exotic plants etc. nice welcome, beautiful swimming pool. We had an apartment with a beautiful sea view. The kitchen is outside. Everything was clean, parking nearby. Unfortunately some negative points: no wifi in the homes only at the reception, dilapidated kitchen and little equipment; all week incessant noise of drills, drills etc... renovation work in high season. FYI, Deshaies is very exotic, a few restaurants not too far from the Grande Anse beach. In summary, a pleasant and exotic stay.

Nous y avons séjourné une seule nuit. J’aurai bien aimé y rester une semaine. Chambre spacieuse, propre, bonne literie, eau chaude à la douche … Petite cuisinette extérieur parfaite avec bonus une vue sur les jardins et la mer. Le personnel est charmant, professionnel et attentif. Nous avons pris notre petit-déjeuner à la terrasse de la résidence vue mer au prix de 12 euros. Yaourt, pain baguette frais et chaud, viennoiseries fraîches et chaudes, café, lait chaud et thé. J’ai trouvé le prix trop élevé et à mon avis il manquait les fruits frais. Piscine impeccable. Peu de chaise longue, car l’espace autour de la piscine est restreint. À 5 - 10 minutes de marche, vous aurez accès à la plage, resto, et un mini-market. Merci à toute l’équipe de nous avoir accueilli à la dernière minute. Vous avez été des hôtes extraordinaires.
