What delightful accommodation. Beatrice the host was amazing. We had booked an evening meal well in advance for our first night and I was so glad that we had as it was such a stylish dining room with local poduce beautifully cooked. Our room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The interiors were wonderful throughout with beautifully kept gardens and safe on site parking. Verdun is very pretty, good restaurants. The Ossuary at Douaumont and the Verdun Monument are excellent places to visit, the story of battle at Verdun with all of it’s horrors is well told. La Maison Mirabeau is perfectly situated for both the short stroll into town and an easy short drive to the afore mentioned points of interest.

We really enjoyed our overnight stop here. The house is a wonderful eclectic mix of furnishings and decorations. Our bathroom and bed were magnificent. Our host couldn’t do enough for us and the evening meal that we paid additionally for, was excellent . Highly recommended

We arrived after a long drive from Belgium. We were met by the lovely owner who showed us to our room at the top of the house. Lovely view, nice furnishings, great size bathroom with toiletries. Our host was really nice, made us welcome and was great at breakfast. A lovely French home that was for me a lovely experience. I got to practice my poor French, enjoy to beautiful town of Verdun as it’s only a short walk from the b&b, was looked after by my host who was very helpful and felt really welcomed. Beatrice shared some good tips on what to see and couldn’t be more helpful.

L'accueil, la gentillesse de l'hôte et les équipements de la maison étaient parfaits. Petit déjeuner au top ! Calme et reposant alors que vous êtes à 5 minutes à pied du centre ville. Vous voulez vous arrêtez à Verdun, c'est l'adresse à réserver...

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l accueil, l hébergement, le calme, la proximité du centre ville et la possibilité de garer sa voiture dans la propriété. Tout était très bien. Le rapport qualité/ prix est très correct. La propriétaire est de bon conseil quant aux activités locales.

Jolie maison très bien située, à 2 pas du centre ville. Chambre spacieuse à la propreté irréprochable, nous étions là en septembre au premier étage ce qui nous a permis de dormir fenêtre ouverte, mais sans climatisation en pleine canicule il fait chaud. Bon accueil, manque un peu de convivialité, aurions souhaité un peu plus de présence de la propriétaire, table d'hôtes on ne nous en a pas parlé, profité du jardin non plus. Dommage.

Très bel endroit, chambre très confortable dans une belle maison de maître très près du centre ville de Verdun et idéalement situé pour aller courir avant le petit déjeuner au bord de la Meuse. Ik vraag mij af of alle recensies hier en op google wel juist zijn. Deze plek is centraal gelegen en op loopafstand van het centrum. Verdun is niet de plek van culinaire hoogstandjes en veel restaurants zijn door de weeks gesloten. Veel restaurant serveren friet + steak/hamburger of vis, pizza, lasagne etc. Over de locatie, prima ontvangen door de eigenaresse en aan ons gevraagd hoe laat wij het ontbijt willen hebben. De kamer was groot en netjes. Badkamer in orde. Tot zover… de kussens waren erg hard en het gevoel was na een nacht slapen dat alles sintetisch was. Het ontbijt stond netjes op tafel. Gesneden stokbrood en gewoon brood. Er werd gevraagd of we huis gemaakte appelsap wilde. Tafel inclusief beleg en slappe koffie wordt gedeeld met andere gasten. Er was ham, kaas en jam. Geen zoetigheden, geen croissant (zoals in elk Frans hotel). Na een fijne dag terug te zijn was de kamer niet schoongemaakt en we hebben ook geen schone handdoeken gekregen. De waterflesjes zijn niet aangevuld. Blijkbaar is je kamer zoals je deze krijgt bij aankomst, ook voor 2 nachten. De volgende dag kregen we 6 stukjes stokbrood en weer de slappe koffie. En nu werd er niet gevraagd of we een huisgemaakte appelsap bij het ontbijt wilden. Heel karig en teleurstellend allemaal. Deze B&B heeft veel potentie maar daar wordt zeker geen gebruik van gemaakt.
