The Victoria Hotel Dimboola

Gorgeous olde world pub. Worth the detour from the highway. Upstairs accommodation great. Small rooms but redoocrated authentically. Staff exceptionally helpful WELL DONE Metan and Stoph Will recommend to friends and family and free camping area at Dim looks good too

So surprised by this Pub. Food and service were beautiful. The decor was all class and a big improvement from previous ownership. Take some time out to visit Dimboola, have lunch or dinner here, go for a swim in the beautiful river and check out the new shops or stay a few days in the great Caravan Park.

Absolutely amazing. Can’t believe what they have done with this grand old pub. Walked into the bar today, as we were free camping down the road, and met the friendly locals who made us welcome. Live music as well. Beer was cold, Carlton draught from the tap. Then the meal. Wow. The cheesy garlic bread was topped with shaved Parmesan on top of herbs and lightly toasted . Then we actually had 2seniors meals. Fish and chips and pork belly. Light and crispy, just amazing.. Highly recommend coming here… Choice of wines too….

The Victorian hotel is a destination in its own right. The most amazing hotel I have visited in rural Australia. It is brimming with ambience and memorabilia and the food was to die for at incredible prices. We had the beef cheek and parmigiana- amazing!!!!

Last night, we popped in to the Victoria Hotel Dimboola to celebrate a few small wins... we try to make a big deal of the good stuff... and this hotel is the place to go if you're travelling through the Wimmera, or are fortunate to live close by 🙂 The food is of the highest standard... and we've never had a bad meal in close to two-years since we first found this charming pub... The building itself is beautiful, and stepping inside takes you back through the decades to a place where I personally would choose to stay... no yuppie renovations going on here, people 😉... Beautifully restored and furnished, leaving the heart and soul of the post WW1 building in place, while honouring it's rich history... Request a table in the 'Elbow Room'... or as I call it, 'The room of bare breasted heathens going straight to hell' 😳... I promise, you won't regret it... unless dining in there with your talkative, judgmental, over-sharing grandchildren 😂 The publican, Stoph, and his wife, Merin, treat you like old friends and make you feel you've been invited into their home... and the staff are pretty bloody amazing!!!! One of the best hotels in country Victoria, in my opinion... and the chef needs some sort of award for consistency, at the very least... Can't recommend this place enough 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Had a good lunch today, generous servings and promptly served in the elbow room of the Victoria hotel Dimboola. Proprietor very friendly. A lovely atmosphere and amazing furnishings to match the age of the hotel. A memorable experience. If only there were more pubs like this one. My husband needs gluten free food and had a huge range to choose from.
