The hotel has lots of potential, but in its current condition, I would rate it 3*, not 5*. Beautiful building and surroundings - just very outdated. The gym is horrible everything is extremely old floor dirty linoleum, no proper mats no water no AC

My experience at the hotel was not what I should expect from 5 star hotel. The Good: The hotel looked impressive from outside and the lobby was breathtaking. The food was very good in quality, comparing it to other 5 star hotels. The beach has sunbeds for everyone, dont need to rush to get one. The Bad: Dress code for the restaurant, to wear long jeans and pants on 35 degrees isn't something you can enjoy and this is only for men. The room was full with ants and mosquitoes which for a 5 star hotel or any star hotel is inadequate. One of the maids was amazing, but when she had day off, her colleagues did not change the towels, we should call them to do it. Lets talk tips, the reality is, if you don't give tips you are going to be neglected, which is not acceptable, considering that you have paid 1000 euros for a week at the hotel. We were neglected from the staff at the bars constantly, the only place that had good service was the main restaurant. When I say neglected I mean, we order 3 drinks after 30 mins wait and the guy forgets to bring them and then if you don't call him, he would not come the next 30 mins. which means you dont drink anything if you expect him to serve you. Overall we were happy by the county, enjoyed our time in Sahara and crocodile farm but would never consider coming back to the hotel, because of attitude which is the most important aspect in everything.

We are staying at the hotel for the third time. Everything was great except the animation this time. We were coming back for the good animation, but it was better in June. We would like to thank a lot to the animators Madi and Sérine, which was kind, funny and grate professionals. But at the end of our stay we didn't see Madi anymore. The activities that he was doing were not the same anymore and we and many other guests were wandering what is going on. We would like to thank also to the animator Kaïs, who was very kind. But if the people who made us enjoy our stay are not there anymore, we will consider our choice. It's because some of the others didn't seem to have a lot of energy and wish to do their job. The pool view rooms are great and clean, both the main restaurants and a la carte restaurants are wonderful with really amazing food. The service in the main restaurant is very professional and good. At the reception worked kind people with a lot of experience.

Hotel is good - clean, big swiming pool, neat to the beach. Food is very good - many dishes, everybody could could something to eat. Minus - animation, not interesting, the animators look like are unhappy. Problems with sounds and microphones.

After a terrible few days at the TUI magic Life hotel, which is a fly infested disgusting mess, we paid extra to move to this hotel. Although only a few miles from the terrible TUI, it seems a million miles away. It is paradise in comparison. Children are well behaved (and do not push and grab at food in the restaurant, putting their grubby little hands in the food!). It is reasonably lively with activities, but the animation team are professional and not too pushy. When interacting with guests, they are respectful. The room is very spacious and we have a beautiful sea view (far better than looking at the wall at the back of the TUI hotel) watching the sunrise is worth getting up for! The room has marble tiled floors, which are always clean and dust free. The bathroom is dated but immaculate. I personally do not mind that it is a bathtub with shower over but a refurbished bathroom would be nice. The toilet and bidet are in a separate room which is actually a good idea, especially as my daughter takes forever in the shower! This hotel has really tried to include my daughter in activities (she has autism) and she has enjoyed dancing with Sam, aqua gym etc. we have had massages (very professional once again) my daughter had a lymphatic drainage massage which really helped her health condition and will have another before returning home. Very reasonably priced at around £25 for an hour (we bought a package of 3 each) They offer many different types of massage and treatments. There are a few little shops down an indoor avenue decorated with trees, a lovely piano bar (reminded me of The Wake restaurant on my last Virgin voyages cruise) there are lots of lovely attentive staff with table service, who are wearing suits and formal attire to serve you. The drinks are pretty good for an AI and you can purchase from a premium menu if you wish. The main restaurant is busy at times, but I find it helpful that you have two sittings. It makes complete sense. We chose the second at 8:30 as it suits my daughters needs (little to no children) and we sit at the same table each evening which also helps her. The table is ready with your favourite drinks on ice in the ice bucket next to you. The only negative I’ve found at this hotel is the sunbed situation. There are not enough. The staff do their best to juggle things around to accommodate though. The pool has a few tiles missing but nothing major, and the gentle slope to enter the pool would be perfect for those with mobility issues. I think this hotel is in my top 10 (and I’ve traveled extensively) for service and staff attitude, we have been welcomed by the wonderful guest relations team (after they’ve heard about our awful experience at TUI magic life Penelope). The other negative for some may be that there are no other English guests here. I’m sure this is not always the case. Staff are still quite surprised to see English people as flights have only recently restarted to the island. I was also sur

Royal Garden Palace has its charm, but it's clear that its best days are behind it. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant team – especially the evening shift – was professional and welcoming. Desserts were top-notch, but beef dishes were a letdown: steaks were overcooked and rubbery, and stews needed much more time to become tender. On the bright side, fish and shrimp were delicious. The Tunisian night and local cuisine were real highlights! Entertainment options were quite limited, which is a downside considering there isn’t much to do outside the hotel. The crocodile farm is about 3 km away – worth the walk on your own. The hotel surroundings feel neglected, and while camels and horses on the beach might sound exotic, the mess they leave behind is less appealing. Overall: a decent one-time experience, but not a place we’d return to.

The hotel has exceptional animation team. You can have aqua aerobic or stretching during a team and unforgettable party every night. I visited quite a few hotels in my life but has not seen such a dedicated a professional animation team, especially Sirine. The cleaning lady and the reception was perfect. But also the guy in charge of the main restaurant was very helpful. Thank you for the great vacation ! Marcin
