The hotel is very well located, just a few meters from Souq Waqif and the metro station which provides access to various parts of the city, including the airport. The hotel is old; if you don't care about luxury and want something truly affordable, it might be an option.
However, it already shows signs of wear and tear and deterioration over time.

Superb hotel. Great staff, great location, almost next door to the metro. Very clean and if you ask for things like shaving accessories, they just give them to you. The room was huge. Great AC, great view from the room.

Great location. Walking distance to the metro (Gold line) and Souq Waqif.
Very friendly staff, especially the bell hop.

I had a good night. Everything was good. Checkin was very smooth. Souq Waqf and many markets and shops are within walking distance from the hotel. Room was very clean. I enjoyed staying at Kings Gate. I will come back soon.

The hotel staff was very helpful. The location is ideal as it's close to so many attractions and the metro station is literally a 2 minute walk. Overall, very happy with my stay there.

Hotel is proper, but the toilet is so bad, water heater doesnt work and water doesnt sink
