Nightcap at Shoppingtown Hotel

The bathroom was disgusting with hairs and scum in corners and beside toilet. The basin was cracked and chipped. The curtain had a cigarette burn. The whole room stunk of a sickly and cigarette smoke. The smell of past smokers came up into the bed from the pillows and mattress. It was the worst room I’ve ever stayed in my 65 years of travel anywhere in the world. But the receptionist was very lovely and helpful in reception and the cabaret. The staff in the cabaret were amazing and served the dinner so fast to a room full of people. The food was nice. Only problem was the management shut 1 of the two bars and took 3 of the 4 staff off them to serve the dinner. So one bar had a very long queue while this was happening. Then once the show only crowd were let in the place was extremely overcrowded. I wonder if that many were legal.

That was very nice and comfortable room. I can tell this place is amazing and good location.

The hotel is good but the sofa bed is too soft to sleep in. We could hear pp fight and in/out all night. Guessing the wall is too thin.

Convenient location with pub onsite with a kids playground in there. We were initially a bit cautious of rowdy pub goers but it was relatively quiet after all. Very affordable rates as well.

Shoppingtown Hotel, Night Cap chain had Boom Cash Opera Playing and we reserved a nights accommodation. Check in was a breeze and staff are professional and friendly (even though we arrived at dinner service and the dining room was fully booked, staff super busy). We ate alfresco and the meals were excellent. I would drive from our home just for the Nasi Goring. After the concert and in our room you could not hear the busy hotel from inside our room. Bed and pillows - comfy, feel asleep within minutes..rooms are excellent for the price. Thanks to everyone
