I have to give this hotel a huge thumbs up! First of all, the environment is impeccable. The layout of the public areas is very stylish, with light wood decor and soft lighting, creating a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. Even just sitting in the lobby lounge area is incredibly relaxing. Secondly, the service is superb. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly, and the staff were both friendly and professional. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the amenities were of high quality, and the value for money is amazing. Highly recommended!

This breakfast place really exceeded my expectations! The noodles were cooked fresh right there by the chef, and they were incredibly chewy and delicious. You could even add your own side dishes—so fragrant!!! The pastries looked fresh, not the kind that's been sitting out for ages. The fruit was juicy and flavorful, and even the coffee machine looked high-quality. The best part was the service; they cleared away our empty plates as soon as we finished eating, so we didn't have to wait forever. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, and we ate a lot... I didn't even have lunch!

BBrisbaneTomThis hotel has some very good features that I was very happy with and some less important issues that are not deal breakers. First, the very good: USB charge ports (USB-A, USB-C) on both sides of the bed; absolute black-out curtains keep the room totally dark; both firm and soft pillows supplied; controllable air-conditioning/heating; a window that can be opened; stable temperature hot water; friendly staff; fantastic location (quiet, clean neighborhood, lots of restaurants, close to metro); large shower area with choice of shower head; firm (but not rock-hard) mattress; four bottles of drinking water supplied each day; and, most importantly, all rooms are non-smoking. This last point is more common in the major cities but not expected in Dongguan. (Beware of other hotels with ”some non-smoking rooms” - this means that both smoking AND not smoking in these rooms is permitted.) I did not sample the breakfast menu. The not-so-good in the room is the limited control of internal room lighting. The minimal setting is bright enough for most use and there is no way to set the internal lighting very low. There is no pen/paper supplied, and no phone in the room. You are expected to use WeChat to communicate with front-desk. The good thing about this is WeChat's builtin translation facility. The staff don't speak English (and neither do I expect them to as this isn't really a hotel for foreign travelers). There is a self-service laundry with four washing machine and drier sets on level 3A. These are free to use and (apparently) have self-dosing detergent. I never had to wait to use this facility. Level 3A (the forth floor, in reality) is shared by the hotel with a billiards club so the hotel lifts are often occupied with non-hotel customers who do smoke, so this level can smell stale at times. (I stayed on another floor and experienced no issues with air quality. In summary, I would certainly stay here again the next time I visit Dongguan.

GGuest UserThe overall feeling is pretty good. The room is large and has a bathtub. It's cold and it's very comfortable to take a bath. The room is also heated and the bed is very soft. The hotel staff are very kind and polite. When they came to help me clean up the trash, they saw There was a pile of clothes on the sofa. I asked if I wanted to wash them. They could help me take them to the laundry room to wash them. The service was very considerate. When I checked out, the front desk saw that I hadn’t had breakfast yet and gave me a breakfast coupon to let me go. Have breakfast. Although I didn’t go to [呲ya] in a hurry, the service in this hotel is really good. I recommend everyone to try it.

We opted for the panoramic room, which offers a bit more space. The room is well-equipped with all the essentials. Considering the price you pay, the value is exceptional. The breakfast provided is not only delicious but also offers a wide variety of options at a very reasonable price. The reception staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We adore this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future.

MM256203****The stay experience exceeded expectations! The room is clean and comfortable, the bedding is as soft as sleeping in a cloud. The front desk service is warm and attentive, the location is convenient, and the surrounding food shopping is very convenient. The only drawback is that there is a KTV downstairs, but the hotel actively solves the problem and finds the person in charge of the KTV to negotiate and ask them to strictly control the volume and time of operation to avoid affecting guests' rest. Will choose this place for my next trip, highly recommended!

HHyouwaThe room I booked was an executive suite. It was large. It had two large rooms, a large bathroom and a walk in closet and a separate toilet. The decor is a little dated. But this did not make it feel any less grand. The previous hotel was more modern but this room is grander in scale. the bedroom had a panoramic view of the city. We were on the 15th floor. The elevator was fast and would get you from 1 to 15 in 20 seconds. The bathtub could be enjoyed in the dark with the blinds lifted something I took advantage of each day. The toilets are not smart which I got used to in my previous hotel. But they did the job. The shower had good water pressure, the rainfall shower was installed into the ceiling and it had great intensity. The shampo, conditioner and gel were great and the toothpaste was Colgate. There were some amenities listed but we're not available during our stay such as the executive lounges and bars, but the staff explained all the benefits could be enjoyed in the dining hall. There is a onsite pool, gym and sauna on the 5th floor along with a spa. I did not get to try the pool as I had no swim wear. But you could rent if you wanted. The buffet breakfast and dinner was all very good with a lot of options. The freshly cooked noodle and grill station were amazing. I would recommend arriving when it starts or an hour into service as sometimes they begin to pack up before the service is closed. Drinks were unlimited and so was the self serve gelato, which I frequented The room was non-smoking and free from smells as requested which is a plus and I am thankful for, as this could ruin the experience for me and my pregnant partner. The staff were all very welcoming and would greet us every day. Amenities and towels were replenished The interior of the hall was grand the dining hall was decorated, high ceilings and lots of lights secured behind a safety net. Dongguan I did not get to see much of. But it's a city that is in the midst of development with new metros being planned and in the midst of being built. I am excited to see how it changes. Our stay was short but it is indeed one of our most memorable hotels. One due to the size and grandeur of the room and the second was the service provided.

22oneReturned to InterContinental for another business trip. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was upgraded from a 'sea view' (which I assume is a typo and means a lower category room) to a city view, which was spacious with a great panoramic view – Dongguan's nightscape is quite impressive. It's also conveniently located right next to Guomao Mall. Hotel concierge Mia provided efficient and thoughtful service; it really made the experience excellent. Thumbs up!

阝阝東氵又丰一止hotel location is pretty good, in between Rainbow District and Humen Walking Street, the hotel building is part of a condo cluster on top of a shipping mall, so the lobby is not be ground floor but 3rd floor. when taking taxi, ask driver to search for shopping mall 君乐汇 drop off, will be much easier. rooms are modern and spacious, aircon and water pressure for shower is good, housekeeping is top notch, rooms are clean and beds are comfy, pillows are on the softer side, can ask for hard pillows or extras when required. hotel allows late check out until 4pm, that's pretty good for those with late flights out. those who fly out of Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, there's a bus that can be taken from 虎门候机楼 bus station that's at another hotel. hotel amenities are good, used the gym, pretty basic but enough for a good workout, swimming pool is open 7am to 9pm, closed in between from 12-2pm. have to bring own swimming cap or buy one at counter. the pool is run by a club and shared between hotel and condo clusters so weekends and day time will be crowded. pool water is not treated so best to use goggles. shopping mall below hotel makes eating very convenient but head towards outside area near the walking street, lots of local food at cheaper prices. overall will recommend for stay. sightseeing wise, Humen sights are not concentrated, hotel location is pretty central to head out to different places.

The hotel is located just 700 meters from the metro, making it easy to reach. The property is spacious and includes an outdoor pool, indoor pool, sauna, gym, a tennis court (details below), a large dining hall, and two separate massage areas offering various treatments. Room & Service: The rooms are clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a larger room upon arrival. The staff were friendly and polite. Food: We’d rate the food 3.5 out of 5. The buffet is advertised as European, but the dishes lean heavily toward Chinese cuisine. Breakfast wasn’t to our taste, so we decided to skip dinner. Massage: There are two massage salons. We booked a foot massage, but the therapists ended up giving us an almost full-body massage, paying extra attention to sore areas. It was a wonderful experience — 5 out of 5. Pools & Sauna: Both pools are open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. If you prefer fewer people, we recommend the indoor pool around 7 a.m. and the outdoor one around 2 p.m. The pools were clean and warm, and we appreciated the Swedish sauna in the locker room. Again — 5 stars. Gym: The gym is well-equipped and never crowded. Open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. — another 5 stars. Tennis Court: Unfortunately, this was the only major disappointment. Despite several attempts to book and show up at the scheduled time, no staff were present. Phone calls were ignored or we were told, “I don’t have time to talk.” We eventually got a refund (booked via *******), but the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. Rating: 1 out of 5. Overall: Aside from the tennis court issue, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel to others. Great amenities, clean rooms, and a peaceful environment.

GGuest UserUpon arrival, we had to wait two hours for our room. This might be due to the hotel's proximity to the Strawberry Music Festival, leading to a high occupancy and overwhelmed cleaning staff. While the front desk service was fine, the staff member at the entrance of the afternoon tea restaurant had a really bad attitude. The room also had a very strong, unpleasant odor, and we even found water left by the previous guest in the fridge.
