I'm becoming a regular at this hotel. I wish it was closer to the area where I work because I would stay here all the time. Brilliant food, staff, lovely themed rooms. Car parking, quiet, 15 minutes from Oxford and 40 minutes from Reading. Lovely village in the countryside.

A wonderful weekend break. Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The food was excellent - being both vegan and gluten free, we are tricky customers but the staff accommodated us brilliantly. The room was lovely and the parking safe and convenient. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and professional.
I would heartily recommend 'The George Hotel'.

Really helpful, professional and friendly staff. Great room well equipped and comfortable. I slept well.
I had room with beamed ceilings which are notoriously difficult to keep clean and cobweb free, but the house keeping did a great job! Lots of parking with no issues.
Great location for exploring south Oxfordshire'

The George Hotel is a lovely place to stay, it’s clean, has good parking facilities, tastefully decorates and the staff were friendly and helpful. would throughly recommend staying.
The only thing I would suggest is if you have any food allergies or intolerance to let them know before you stay. I’m intolerant to wheat and although they had a couple of options that were GF they didn’t really seem to cater for GF, but feel this was probably my mistake for not making them aware beforehand.

Such beautiful and decor in the bar and restaurant and unique rooms. Dorchester abbey across the road too is worth a wander round.

Room 109 is compact but comfortable and functional.
The staff were great. Breakfast was delicious.
Situated in a quaint village with a nice walk to and along the Thames Path.

Absolutely fantastic rooms since the refurbishment. Staff are very friendly. I've been visiting for ten years due to work close by. Given the refurbishment, money spent the food does not do the place justice. Very standard menu with little or no extra specials.

Rooms were amazingly comfortable and they had thought of everything which may be needed during a stay. The staff were extremely helpful and the restaurant food was great too.
