Pierre-Marc & Lola are incredibly welcoming, and we felt at ease almost immediately. As architects we appreciated the attention to detail of the rooms, bathrooms, the courtyard and garden. The pool area in particular is incredible and a gorgeous place to relax and unwind, with a decently sized pool. The garden is carefully tended, feels natural and is a gorgeous place to relax with a drink at the end of the day. One of the most enjoyable experiences was Lola’s cooking and Pierre-Marc’s knowledge of wine - it is a great combination. Breakfasts were spectacular and whilst we didn’t intend to eat at Clos 1855 every night, we did so (apart from 1 night) as the food was so good. We left feeling that we had been with friends rather than staying as guests. We will return as it was just such a relaxing, welcoming place that this beautiful couple have created. We highly recommend.

Nous venons de passer un super séjour au Clos 1855. Le lieu, le cadre, l’accueil… tout était réuni pour qu’on se sente bien dans cette maisons d’hôtes ! Il y a une atmosphère tellement apaisante qu’on aurait aimé prolonger encore un peu. La chambre dans l’ancien four à pain, avec sa baignoire, était impeccable, pleine de charme et très confortable. Et que dire du brunch et du dîner maison préparés par Lola avec des produits locaux… un vrai bonheur du début à la fin. Merci encore à Pierre Marc et Lola pour leur gentillesse et leur générosité. On reviendra avec grand plaisir !

Een aanrader!!!!! Nog nooit zijn wij zo gastvrij ontvangen en hebben het zo naar onze zin gehad. De setting van het domein is schitterend, tot in de kleinste details afgewerkt en zeer luxueus ingericht. Het domein ligt ook zeer centraal om vele pittoreske dorpjes en bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving te bewonderen. Maar de voornaamste reden dat wij terugkeren is vanwege de gastvrijheid van Pierre-Marc en Lola. Ze stellen echt alles in het werk om je een zorgeloze vakantie te bezorgen. Lola is dan ook nog eens een fantastische kokkin en het ontbijt is dan ook zeer uitgebreid en heerlijk met allemaal verse lokale producten. Wij hebben ook verschillende malen gedineerd bij hen en telkens was het uitstekend. De sfeer is er heel gezellig en familiaal en je kan volop kennismaken met de andere gasten.
