The room was spotless, and the facilities were well-equipped. The staff were very courteous.

Just a friendly heads-up: Due to Hong Kong policy, single-use toiletries (such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and combs) are not provided in the room. However, you can purchase them from vending machines on-site.

Hotel is pretty decent for HK and the price we paid, considering holiday season. But disappointed for a 4-Star chain standards. 
All basic facilities are provided. No frills. More like a 3-star than a 4-star. 
Shuttle makes it easier to get to shopping centre, closer to trains and buses to the city. 
Pool is only open during specific hours but they do have a lifeguard in duty so I’m not sure if I can complain. 
Gym has bare minimum equipment. 
They did mention we got an upgrade but the room is similar to what we booked. It’s a modern-tiny space-saving design room so it’s smart but annoying with the lack of cupboards, floor space etc. Everything in the room is tightly packed. You just get in, sleep an get out but that’s Hong Kong I guess.

My child attended a concert at Kai Tak Sports Park, so we opted for the Dorsett Kai Tak, as it's the closest hotel to the venue. The room wasn't particularly large, but it was spotlessly clean. There's a dedicated access door on the second floor, right by the restaurant, which directly connects the hotel to the sports park – this was incredibly convenient. However, the access door closed a bit early, especially considering concerts usually finish and disperse around 10 PM. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the Airside mall. From the mall, you can enjoy shopping, dining, and entertainment, and conveniently, the Kai Tak MTR station is located directly below it, making transportation quite easy. Honestly, the breakfast selection was limited, and the taste was quite mediocre. Should we return for another concert, I hope to see an improvement in this area.

Great experience! I enjoyed the hotel design, the room was small, but enough for 1 person.
The gentleman working on reception was very welcoming, I immediately felt at home. 
The area is close to vibrant Mongkok markets, but not too close, so it was very quiet.
The hotel provides with adapter for a phone charger, which is very convenient.
The air conditioning system is a bit loud, so if you are sensitive to noise, it is better to bring earplugs, just in case.

Upon checking in, I was immediately struck by the incredible view! We had panoramic vistas of Happy Valley and the city skyline, which was truly satisfying.

The front desk staff were incredibly patient and even provided small necessities like disposable forks and spoons when requested. We also appreciated that by forgoing daily room cleaning, we received a 20 HKD vending machine voucher, which clearly shows their genuine commitment to environmental practices.

My *only* negative experience was with a cleaning lady in the lobby. While I was filling my cup, it overflowed slightly onto the table – something I didn't immediately notice. She then loudly 'tsk-ed,' turned, glared at me, and rolled her eyes. Her attitude was truly shocking... I immediately apologized, but for a spill of less than 10 square centimeters to provoke such a furious reaction from her makes me wonder how often she must get upset or frustrated while performing her cleaning duties every day.

Anyway, despite that incident, I was very satisfied overall. The room was spacious, and transportation was convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located around transportation buses. The view was good facing the city. Compared to most hong Kong hotels, it is spacious enough. Ventilation is not great and air-conditioning has to be opened when taking a shower. They provide a bottle that you can refill with water at the lobby. We were allowed to check in earlier than 3 PM. The receptionists can speak English. The check in and out process was fast. The bed is soft but the pillows aren't very comfortable. You can have your room cleaned daily. They also supply fresh towels. There are some slippers, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available. You need to bring your own toothbrush, comb, and other personal things you may use. Some are available for purchase at the lobby. Overall, it is worth the price you paid for. Will book this again when we go back to Hong Kong. If you are going to central, the bus stop is right outside when you step out of the hotel

Situated in the neighbourhood area od Damansara, Dorsett Hartamas offers stylish stay at somehow mid-range price.

Plaza Damas is a stone's throw walking from the hotel, making it a suitable place to dine, shop and retreat.

However, I experienced the following, making the overall rating reduced:
1. No hot water for shower/ sink - until the next morning
2. The room is appeared compact and less spacious compared to what's been shown in website/ room selection
3. Not mentions of parking is paid separately (RM 3.70 per entry, not FOC)

Stayed at Dorsett Residence Kuala Lumpur recently and overall it was a no-fuss, comfortable experience. The location is excellent – just a short walk to Pavilion and plenty of eateries nearby, which makes it convenient for both shopping and dining.

The rooms were clean and well-kept, though I felt the bedding could be improved with a thicker duvet for better comfort. The gym facilities were on the older side with minimal equipment, so fitness enthusiasts might find it lacking.

That said, if you’re looking for a straightforward stay in a central location without too many frills, this residence does the job well.

Very clean and neat room, although the room is not spacious but overall staying experience was good, the bed very comfortable. About 10 to 15 mins walk to Pavilion KL.

Such a cozy and beautiful Hotel ! Good location & easy parking. The room was clean, comfortable and has all the amenities.. we felt like home. My daughter love the bath tub so much. Staff at the front desk are helpful and courteous during my check in process. Oh ya, to the staff named Fazila thank you so much for helping me when the room door could not be opened 🥰. Overall is ok..recommended to stay here!

Originally booked the 2-bedroom suite in their residence building, but unfortunately, there was no functioning air conditioning despite several attempts to fix it. It’s Malaysia—how could we sleep in the heat?

However, instead of focusing on the inconvenience, I want to highlight the exceptional service provided by the front office manager, Christy Moo. She handled the situation with incredible patience and professionalism, even when I was understandably frustrated and disappointed. She went out of her way to help, moving us to the hotel building and personally ensuring all the rooms had functioning air-conditioning so my parents could rest well after a long flight. The next morning, she even delivered a fruit platter to apologize, showing how much she genuinely cares about her customers.

The rooms were spacious, with connecting options, and featured amazing shampoo and toiletries. The breakfast was delightful—loved the nasi lemak! The hotel even has an in-building massage place, though we didn’t have enough time to visit.

One downside, however, was the disappointing attitude of one concierge staff member—a Malaysian gentleman with a chubby belly. On one occasion, when I came to pick up my Grab order, he was handling suitcases and blocking the way. Despite politely asking him to let me through, he told me to use another route instead of assisting me. He didn’t even hand me my Grab order. Another time during checkout, while we struggled with three big suitcases, he didn’t offer help or even open the door for us and instead walked away. His poor attitude and lack of respect for his job left a bad impression.

Overall, it’s a mixed experience, but Christy Moo’s exceptional service truly stood out and made the stay memorable. If I come back, it will be solely because of her!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Stay at Dorsett Hotel Singapore
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Dorsett Hotel Singapore and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The location is incredibly convenient—right next to the Outram Park MRT station, making it easy to explore all parts of the city. It’s also within walking distance to Chinatown, which was a big plus.
The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, with great views of the city. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary water, fast Wi-Fi, and a well-designed workspace. The bed was very comfortable, and the blackout curtains ensured a restful night’s sleep.
The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they were happy to accommodate my requests. The hotel also features a lovely rooftop pool and a small gym—perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
Overall, Dorsett Singapore offers excellent value, combining style, comfort, and convenience. I would definitely recommend it to both business and leisure travelers, and I look forward to staying here again on my next visit to Singapore.

Celebrated our daughter’s sweet 16th birthday recently at Dorsett SG on 02-Jun! Excellent location, just directly above the Outram MRT, and walking distance to all amenities and delicious food. Thank you to the hotel colleague whom arranged for a later check out request for us ❤️Two comments for improvement: some of the areas around the room needs some minor renovations or touch up, and breakfast could have a wider spread and quality. Hope to be back soon.
