Morlea Bed & Breakfast

Easy/quick check in, quiet rooms and great breakfast atmosphere. Perfect spot to walk to local dining and pub. Food was excellent too!

My husband and i spent 3 nights at Morlea as part of our Scotland tour. It was located near Loch Ness which was included in our plans. Our room was gorgeous, very clean and beautifully presented as was the whole place. Julie and hubby were fantastic hosts, warm and friendly. There was a tin in our room with two slices of homemade Lemon Drizzle cake and a recipe printed out. It was such s nice touch and made the stay home felt and cozy. The room had a lovely en suite bathroom with shower and there were many extra toiletries provided. Breakfast was a mixture of continental and cooked (traditional) and was lovely. Morlea B & B is in a lovely location with a green at the front with picnic tables for use. There is a tea shop, pub and gift shops all located by the green. Thank you to the hosts for making is feel so welcome.

Julie and Chris were so welcoming! They made us feel at home! The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Chris makes the best scrambled eggs! I was so touched that when we reported a car issue he volunteered to come and look at the car! He fixed the problem and it never reoccured. Now thats service! Thank you both for your kindness and hospitality

Excellent choice for accommodation in Drumnadrochit. Highly recommended Owner is very attentive and helpful. Close to everything. I would definitely stay here again. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, too

Warm and welcoming, immaculately clean, with all the usual facilities. Chris and Julie are the nicest hosts and make staying with them a pleasure.

Wonderful location to use as a jumping off point to explore Inverness. From here we did day trips to Culloden and around Speyside to do some distillery tours. Great hosts, great food, great accommodations. Cute little town with walkable restaurants- walk to Fiddlers for dinner!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Morlea B&B. The owners are just lovely people and made us feel very welcome. The room was very nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. As mentioned in previous reviews there is lemon cake awaiting you in the room and a Nespresso machine that makes great coffee. The breakfast was wonderful and they are very generous with portions and variety. We highly recommend this B&B!

Stayed in August for only one night but our stay was perfect at Morlea BB. Spotless clean house with nice decorated rooms and extremely comfortable bed. Everything was provided for us, Julie really thinks about every single detail, such a kind host! We got a message from her a few days before arrival full of usefull informations about the house and the area. She even printed our boarding cards as this was our last evening before our flight. We also found the lemone cake box upon arrival as other mentioned and this was the only place where a nespresso machine was in the room and there were small espresso cups provided. We only drink the short , strong espresso so I could really appreciate that! You can choose your breakafast items the evening before including the full scottish version. That was more then sufficient. As we only wanted to eat something small in the evening we tried the fish and chips truck just a few steps from the house at Fiddlers. Well... it was not bad but I would not eat there again. We have eaten better shrimps and better chips during our trip in Scotland.... And we had to wait 45 minutes for a box of chips and shrimps. But again it was the food truck and not the restaurant! The little place of Drumnadrochit is so nice, and the BB is just in the middle of it. We made a nice walk around in the evening, this place really worth a visit. We would happy to return anytime when visiting Scotland!

We stayed for two nights at the lovely Morley Bed & Breakfast in Drumnadrochit in April 2022. It is a delightful B&B with the wonderful addition of a freshly baked lemon drizzle cake (with the recipe also provided!) in our room on arrival which was delicious. Very nicely presented rooms with lots of personal touches and attention to detail. And a fantastic breakfast - one of the best we experienced whilst doing the Great Glen Way. We were also able to enjoy the sunny living room to rest our feet and enjoy a bit of downtime. Excellent B&B - would highly recommend.
